I write this in hopes that others do not have the same experience as we did.We arrived much later than our original check-in time. However, we had sent an email in advance to inform them that we would be arriving late.Upon arriving at the guesthouse at around 1 AM, I was welcomed with the owner's anger and shouting. The guesthouse owner was heavily intoxicated and, as soon as he saw me, he started expressing his anger while claiming he was very worried. It seemed to me that he was just venting his frustration on me.He kept angrily speaking to me, saying that he hadn't received our email about our late arrival. We explained that we had sent the email and that there were circumstances beyond our control that had made us late, but that didn’t seem to matter to him. He just kept asking why we hadn’t contacted him.He said he was worried and wondered if he should report us missing to the police. However, he claimed to be worried while nearly finishing a bottle of tequila with other guests.I kept apologizing, telling him to calm down, saying I didn’t know about the message we sent because I had not booked this place (my girlfriend had made the booking). After my repeated apologies, he mocked me, asking if it was my girlfriend's fault. He questioned whether I was saying I had no fault and criticized me for not taking care of my girlfriend.The guesthouse owner had sent us an email asking what time we would arrive, to which we responded that we would be late, but he claimed he never received that email. After that, he sent us no further emails. He said he was worried, but there he was, drinking tequila.I kept trying to calm the guesthouse owner, who continued to mock my girlfriend and I for about an hour past midnight.At that late hour, I had no energy or strength to go elsewhere.We tried to get some sleep, but the drinking party continued, and the noise and conversations made it impossible for us to rest.The next day, we ended up moving to another accommodation.

A very sweet and pleasant place to stay with the nicest hosts of my entire trip. The hostel is rather small but very comfortable. It is quite clean only the shower is a bit more rustic. The other guests were more Japanese, but they welcomed you very warmly and gave you food to try and chat to. My little highlight of my trip to Japan.

I stayed there for a long time.It's well-cleaned, flexible, has a free and relaxing atmosphere, and has facilities and equipment that you wouldn't find in a normal guest house, so there's nothing you'll feel like you're missing.There is a WiFi environment and good reception, so it is recommended for remote work.The people at the hostel are very knowledgeable in various fields and will be happy to teach you anything, so you can have fun even if you don't have a plan. I especially feel that there are a lot of marine activities.The rice was delicious too!
