It was a hotel I had wanted to stay at for a long time, and I was very satisfied with the result.It has a different quality than a resort hotel.I had two elementary school students, so I stayed in a detached house for one night, but I felt like I was a resident of Taketomi Island because I was able to spend the night without worrying about the surroundings.The children were also taken care of when it came to the meals, and all of them were delicious.Actually, what I was most looking forward to was going on a coconut crab tour, but on that day the master was away that night...I thought it was a shame, but I had no choice, and the old lady said, ``If it were me, I don't know if I'd be able to see it.'' Is your grandchild busy with something? My older sister also accompanied me and visited several points.My children and I were very impressed to see 4 coconut crabs. The stars looked beautiful, and that night's adventure on Taketomi Island became a very fond memory for my family.I'm looking forward to visiting again.

I stayed for 3 nights, and the menu was different every time, and I had fun and delicious meals. Although the toilet and bath were shared, it was very clean and nice. After breakfast, I went for a walk and when I returned to the hotel, I was told that my room was being cleaned, and when I asked if I wanted to take a shower, she brought me a bath towel and hand towel. When I returned to the room after taking a shower, there were new bath towels and hand towels. The female staff was very attentive.

Thank you for staying with us for one night in late June during the rainy season. Located in the middle of the village, it was convenient for walking around the island.What I would like to highlight is the food. Anyway, it's delicious! Although it wasn't fancy by any means, it was a dish where you could feel that each dish was made with care. I thought this was exactly what "nuchigusui" meant.Although Taketomi Island is not nearby, it was a wonderful inn that made me want to visit again.

I used it on my honeymoon.A place where you can really feel Taketomi IslandI was able to enjoy overflowing hospitality and more food than I could finish!When I go to Taketomi Island againMy husband and I often talk about how nice Takana Ryokan is!

I stayed here on a solo trip for the first time in over 10 years.I remember that the food was very delicious when I visited with my family once, but even though I ate there for the first time in a while, I was very satisfied with the deliciousness. The portions are plentiful and the taste is unmistakable, still the same simple Yaeyama flavor. As expected, this is Taketomi Island's oldest inn. I hope it continues for a long time.

2023.1.21Second stay since October 2021.Last time I stayed in a twin room on the second floor of the annex opposite the main building, but this time I stayed in a separate room.It begins with the transfer to Taketomi Port, the check-in procedure at the main building while enjoying Shikuwasa juice and Sata Andagi, and the kind reception of the staff, which is the moment when you realize that your stay on Taketomi Island has begun.The annex is about a 2-minute walk from the main house, and is a new, very clean and comfortable space consisting of an 8 tatami room with a verandah, a living room-like space with a sofa on the flooring, and a bathroom, toilet, and sink.There didn't seem to be any Wi-Fi in the annex.Since there was a comfortable sofa, I thought it would be even better if there was a table, even if it was small.The annex is a red-tiled private house-style building divided into two rooms, with the living room in the center with a large table and the kitchen with a kitchenette shared, and coffee and pots are also provided.You have to go to the main building for meals, but it doesn't feel like a big deal.We chose a half-board plan this time as we were very satisfied with the food last time and there are limited restaurants on the island, but I don't see any reason to do anything else at this inn.Great volume and quality both morning and evening!There are many items, and they are all really delicious!Even though pineapple is served with breakfast, dessert is also served at the end.Although it does not have the luxury of the latest resort hotels, you can enjoy a very heartwarming stay.I think it's probably a family business, and I hope it continues for a long time.I'm really glad I stayed! I want to visit again! This is a ryokan that will make you feel that way.

The rooms and food are of course not luxurious. But that's good. It was an indescribably pleasant flavor. There was no TV in the room, so I went to bed at 9 o'clock for the first time in a while. I was healed.

I stayed here for 2 nights traveling alone. I had a relaxing time in the twin room. Both dinner and breakfast were home-cooked and very delicious with a large selection of items. I'll visit you again.
