It wasn't open, so I went there by bike, and the gravel slope was narrow and making U-turns was difficult!

It was really good! !Thank you uncle for your detailed explanation 😊It is also a place where you can enjoy bird watching! The women's toilet was also Japanese style, but it was clean! There is a Western-style restaurant in the administration building, but it is far away, so if you are not comfortable with the Japanese style, it is better to leave. It seems that there have been some people who have been attacked by bears in Mt. Ishikura recently, so everyone please be careful💦

Used for solo camping touring in early April 2024.Register at the Ishikurayama Park management office (free of charge) and descend a steep gravel slope from a short distance away.As others have written, it's a gravel road with steep slopes and sharp curves, so people on liter bikes packed with camping gear need to be prepared to some extent. However, the distance is short and it just forms a Z-shape.The free site at the bottom has two levels, with a kitchen between the upper and lower sites, and a toilet on the top of the hill to the right. There were no vending machines found on the site.Motorcycles and other vehicles are not allowed on the lawn, so you will have to park on the side of the road. This is a quiet campsite in the forest, easily accessible from the national highway. The site is surrounded by cherry blossom trees, so if the time is right, you can also enjoy cherry blossom viewing bonfires.I think it will be easier to go shopping after setup. (With the bonus of being able to try the entrance slope again)This is a free campsite, so there is no sale of firewood, etc., and you must take your trash home with you.I was also told that if I looked at the gravel slope at the site entrance and felt it was impossible, I could set up next to the administration building.I think it's a good campsite that's easy to get to.

The manager is kind.Apparently the campground was closed the next day, but I was able to pitch my tent next to the administration building. It was very helpful to hear that. His son also seems to have ridden motorcycles, so he has a certain understanding of motorcycles. The site below is a gravel road with a steep slope, so it may be difficult for inexperienced riders to go up and down.If I have a chance, I would like to express my gratitude again.

Preview before Corona. We headed to the site on a steep downhill dirt track that would be difficult for large bikes. By the way, there is no space to park if you drive down. Two lawns with about 30 lawns are completely sloped. The toilet is also quite far away and you have to go to the bungalow site above. Well, if you bring your own tent, it's free, so there's no problem for people who just want to pitch a tent and sleep in a pavilion during the off-season.

There are a lot of harsh comments, but I'll write my thoughts. It seems like a lot of people use motorcycles, but we stayed there for one night with three of our children, one in middle school and one in high school.I went there on a heavy rainy day and was worried about the way to get to the bungalow, so unfortunately I couldn't stay and went after 5pm after sightseeing. I stayed in the administration building. The next morning I went to see the bungalow, but 2800 yen was 100% impossible in Niigata! It was very beautiful.I used the toilet in the park, so it was a flush toilet. I don't know if the toilet outside the bungalow is potty or not, but even if it is, it's out of the question for me at this price.I think the manager said that bungalow users can use the shower for free. (We went to a nearby hot spring)It's so rich in nature that you can almost see bears, and it's great for walking, and I think families like mine who are used to cheap camping will be very satisfied. However, there are a lot of things that need repairs due to the disaster, and the facility is managed by just one person, so in that sense it's not well-equipped, but I think it's perfect considering the cost. The meat I bought at the supermarket that the manager told me about was the best! It's cheap. If you are going, please give it a listen. Also, as mentioned in the reviews, I was able to use the service outside the prefecture for the same price.Sorry for taking so long to write!

I visited here for the first time in about 20 years to see the autumn leaves. We trekked from the administration building to the campsite, and the bushes were well trimmed so it was easy to walk. The autumn leaves were beautiful and there were no people, so I was able to relax and enjoy it.It's not famous, but I think it's a hidden gem. There are golf courses and salty hot springs nearby, so it might be a good idea for golfers and hot spring lovers to stop by.
