Loved our stay there. The rooms were small but clean, the futons comfortable. The couple we stayed with were very friendly, we ate together and drank local awamori. Highly recommend anyone that wants a local experience to stay.

You'll want to stay there for several nights.Enjoy a delicious meal made with handmade pesticide-free vegetables while the time passes slowly. It's a light Japanese food that I personally love. The children have grown to love the owner and his wife and are looking forward to meeting them. The inn, which was built by the two of them from scratch, is always clean and shiny. We also gave the children a chance to experience harvesting.I would like to go there for the third time this year. I'd like to stay for about 3 nights.

Recommended for those who want to fully enjoy the island while experiencing nature first-hand.It was a great place to stay even if you were traveling alone, which was helpful. The handmade buildings and breakfast and evening meals are attractive. You can enjoy pesticide-free vegetables and fruits grown in the fields. The owner and his wife and the guests gather together to eat together, so you can have fun talking about your travels and the island until the night. There are few street lights, and when you step outside, you can see a starry sky.You can also use the washing machine for free, so you don't have to worry about long trips. If you talk to the shop owner about what you want to do on the island, I think most things will come true. There is also a bicycle rental shop nearby.

I stayed at Agatamura this time through the introduction of a friend who had previously stayed there! The host, Mr. Agata, is very knowledgeable and will teach you anything you don't understand. All dishes are made with home-grown pesticide-free vegetables and are very delicious!Especially the curry for dinner on the second day was amazing! The curry, which was simmered with only the water from tomatoes and other vegetables without using any water, was truly exquisite!I was traveling alone this time, but some of the people I stayed with had small children with them, so I felt that they were very considerate in providing dishes tailored to the guests. This is a wonderful guesthouse where you can feel safe bringing your children! At Yuntaku in the evening, we had a very interesting and educational time listening to the experiences of other guests, Mr. Agata's experiences, and his thoughts on the future. If I have a chance to come again next time, I will definitely use it!I will continue to support you \(^o^)/

The owner of the inn is knowledgeable and proactive, and knows everything from cultivating land and growing pesticide-free vegetables to beekeeping, food education, culture and history, and he even built the building himself. When I asked him about the island, he told me various things, and when I arrived at the port, I was thinking of walking because I couldn't rent a bike because I hadn't made a reservation, and he came to pick me up in a hurry. Ta.The food was delicious, including vegetables and fish!We also received awanami and learned how to drink it deliciously. I want to drink it again, but it's difficult to get it...It was fun with Yuntaku, other guests, and his younger brother. After that, they went outside to look at the stars and gave an explanation.

I stayed here for several nights around September last year. The owner, Mr. Agata, took us fishing in the sea at night and explained about the constellations!Daytime and evening events depend on the owner's time availability, but they will take you to hidden spots that only islanders know. The food made by the owner is delicious! It's fun to go fishing at night with new people and the owner!Have fun with the fish you catch!Maybe it's because I don't usually drink sake, but when I bought sake as a souvenir, it was very well received lolThis is a guesthouse I would like to stay at again. My younger brother, who loves bicycles, runs a bicycle rental business.

The host raises chickens, so fresh eggs are sometimes provided for meals, and they also grow vegetables and provide island vegetables for meals. You can also try fishing as an option, so you can experience a variety of things. I only stay at Agata Village on Hateruma Island.Although there are some low reviews, Hateruma IslandIf you want to know everything about it, please visit Agata Village. Please try using it 🙌

(2023/07) The surname is "Agata". This inn is particular about providing most of the vegetables in its meals. The only downside is that it's difficult to get a hold of the phone and make reservations (I couldn't even get through to them, so I ended up staying at another hotel). The owner may seem difficult to approach at first glance, but once you get to know him, he will teach you many things about the island. My brother runs an izakaya called Haterumajima in Fuchuhonmachi, Tokyo, so please check that out as well. They look just like their brothers.
