The meals are sumptuous, and there is also a small bathhouse where you can soak in the hot springs (although the water is too hot)

Very friendly service and cosy atmosphere. The food was great! Also two hot baths in the downstairs that you can use for free. There's a small gift-shop -corner and also drinks, snacks and beer for sale. It's about 5 minutes walk from the bus stop, great location for hiking as in summer there's a bus up to the Akita Komagatake 8th station.

While planning a trip from Akita City to Tamagawa Onsen to Nyuto Onsen, I was having trouble making a decision because the accommodations near Lake Tazawa were expensive, and the cheaper options were closer to Akita City or further away in Iwate. I found this the same day!I wanted to go to Nyuto Onsen the next day, so I happened to stop 3 minutes from the hotel by car and searched for accommodation for an hour.I saw on Google Maps that there was an opening for today's schedule, so I called her right away, and the healthy and lovely lady cheerfully agreed to the appointment👍⛳️It really saved my heart🏌️♀️For only ¥5,100 without meals, you'll find a clean room, a well-built wooden interior that feels homely, and a large and small hot spring available for private use...with a small open-air bath! Best cost performanceMoreover, I like the very pleasant quality of the hot springs and the retro Ghibli style bathroom 😂As soon as you let the water out of the hot spring, it will become lukewarm 🔴 The part of your body that goes into it will turn red, which is similar to Nonaka Onsen in Hokkaido, so you'll be happy! ️And I'm sweating💆Today ① Tamagawa Onsen Bedrock Bath → ② Tamagawa Onsen Drop-in Hot Spring → ③ Ikake Onsen → ④ Fujishichi Onsen → ⑤ Radish House Small Bath I went in and I sweat the most.This is a recommended inn that I finally found that is suitable for families, circles, training camps, girls' trips, men's trips, and solo trips❣️The best❣️❣️P.S: After looking at the hot spring analysis table, it looks very similar to Nonaka Onsen ♨️👼It's heaven

Cozy lovely guesthouse with wonderful hosts. Both breakfast and dinner are worth adding on - delicious and very filling. The bath/onsen was nice as well. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend Hotel Radish House.
