Everything is the best. There is no place on a remote island where you can find clean, delicious food and cheap prices. The air conditioner isn't dirty. The owner is always cleaning and wiping the floors, so the inside is spotless. There are usually valuable materials such as shells and photographs on display. It's quiet at night, as there are many solo customers or a few elderly diving buddies (the owner will warn you if you see someone who is unreasonable, such as running the washing machine late at night). The routes for taking a shower after returning from swimming, washing, and hanging to dry are well thought out.Unmanned sales right in front of you at very low prices5 seconds walk to supermarketBetter than pussy

It's close to the port and a supermarket, so I always use it. Breakfast is delicious. The staff members all make you feel at home and make you feel like you're back at home.

Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights. It has a relaxing atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era.Are you a male owner? (Ibaraki native) told me various stories, which made me feel at ease.Within walking distance from Uehara Port. There is a supermarket across the road, so I think the location is good.On the day of departure, they were able to have breakfast early to coincide with the ferry time, which was helpful.Breakfast is very delicious, so we recommend a plan that includes breakfast.

The old group of people organising the hotel are just super nice and friendly. Kanpira-so must be around for 30-40 years or so.Even though not much English is spoken, we managed a booking calling.Rooms and toilet are clean and the mattress is comfortable. They give you good maps of the island and help you with all your needs talking with hands, feet and google translate.2min walking to the ferry terminal Uehara, you can pay the hotel with credit card. The tour operators come and pick you up at the hotel.Would definitely book again.

I stayed at Kanpira-so, a guesthouse without meals on the Uehara Port side of Iriomote Island. The lady at the hostel was very kind and served us cold barley tea and chinsuko as soon as we arrived. It was delicious. There is a supermarket the size of a convenience store right in front of the hotel, which is reassuring for those traveling without meals. The rooms at the inn are clean and have a good impression, with tatami mats and futons. The toilet was on the second floor and it was a little scary at night. I think it would be nice if you could make it a little less scary with lighting, etc. It was interesting to share the fridge and write your name on your own.A local told me that habu appears on the road at night, so I went out to see the stars, armed with a flashlight and an electric flashlight, even though I was scared. Unfortunately it was cloudy and I could only see a few stars, but it was a great experience. The typhoon was approaching, and the ferry between Uehara Port and Ishigaki Island was canceled, and the man at the hotel kindly told us about the bus to Ohara Port. As a result, I was able to move to Ohara Port early the next day and board the ferry. thank you!

4,200 yen including out bath and breakfast. The location is very convenient. There is a trick to locking the A-1 Mango room. It doesn't go smoothly anyway. hard. At first, it didn't take long and I gave up.You can now use the air conditioner for free (it used to be coin-operated). When you turn up the airflow, black mold pops out of the air conditioner and falls onto the tatami mat. When I looked inside, it was pitch black with mold. The sirocco fan is also full of mold. I kept the wind at a low level, kept it facing upwards, and wore a mask when I slept to survive. The toilet on the first floor is Japanese style. The toilet on the second floor is Western style. None of the toilets have heated toilet seats, but those who know about it will know that the toilet on the first floor is easier to use.The TV is 19 inches. There is a hair dryer and a mosquito repellent mat in the drawer of the TV stand.A rice cracker futon with an extremely thin mattress. When I sleep, I feel the hardness of the tatami under my butt. The tatami mats seem to have been recently replaced and look new. There is a communal refrigerator in the dining room for guests. The air conditioner in the dining room broke down in September 2023, and there is no prospect of a fix. It is likely that it will remain unusable for some time.Wi-Fi is "FREESPOT", which has recently disappeared. It can only be used in the lobby, but the speed is relatively high. The washing machine usage fee is 200 yen. In the drying area, there are many hangers that will not be blown away by the wind.Breakfast was very delicious. Thank you for getting up early in the morning and making me a delicious breakfast.Very quiet at night. There's a nice atmosphere with the sounds of geckos sometimes. There is a big tree in the backyard of the inn, and there is a place where you can see the sea, which also has a nice atmosphere. The people at the inn are all simple, kind, and serious. It pains me to ask elderly people to separate garbage that hasn't been properly sorted. At the very least, we, as customers, would like to do our part to separate our garbage properly to reduce the hassle.

For the first time in 30 years, I took care of you for 4 nights with breakfast included. 4200 yen per night. The rooms are comfortable with a TV and air conditioning. The floors are always kept clean as well.At this time of year, the breakfast desserts changed daily, including pineapple🍍, mango, and dragon fruit, and ``everything was delicious😋.''For dinner, there are restaurants and pubs nearby.Let's go to your favorite store. The store in front of you: Super Kawamitsu also sells bento boxes and sashimi. Each item will sell out once it arrives, so it's best to buy them early.Frozen pineapple 🍍150 yen, recommended for dessert. You can also eat it for lunch as a cold pack.

It's a beautiful inn! It was a sudden request to stay, but they kindly welcomed us. It happened to be the right time, so I bought it and ate it, and was surprised how delicious it was. Moreover, each piece costs 100 yen.

I used the cheapest plan for a room without meals and separate bathroom and toilet.First of all, the port and shops are within walking distance, which is very convenient. It's a family run business, and everyone is very kind and helpful. I forgot something, so when I called the hotel, my mom answered the call and had it mailed right away.At first you will be explained some rules such as shower times and leaving your keys with us, but if you have to leave early in the morning or late at night, they will accommodate you flexibly, so it was not an inconvenience at all. It was also very convenient to be able to wash and dry swimsuits in the outside shower. The rooms are private and comfortable with an air conditioner and TV.If I had to pick a drawback, it would be that insects would come into the room no matter how much you tried to keep it closed. Also, there are some big bugs in the shared toilets, so I was fine with it, but people who don't like bugs might want to be careful. However, since I have never lived in an inn on a remote island where there were no insects, it may be best to assume that it is the same everywhere.Overall, the stay was very good, so I would like to use it again the next time I come to Iriomote.
