"Mt. Takao" in Yuwa, Akita City is reputed to be easily accessible by car and has a great view. Mt. Takao in Tokyo is famous, but this Mt. Takao's scenery is just as good! This is Mt. Takao in Yuwa, Akita City. It is known locally, but unfortunately it is not that famous within Akita Prefecture ( ̄▽ ̄;)Although it is narrow, it is located along the national highway (Route 341) and is only about 3 km from the village, making it a convenient leisure location for the local residents of Yuwa, Akita City (*^^) vIt's so narrow that it's difficult for cars to pass each other, and the parking lot comes into view as you climb up the steeply sloped national highway with its many curves. Although it is not paved, it is a fairly large parking lot.Almost across from the parking lot is Takao Sanso, which has a rest area and toilets that can be used free of charge. There is a sign board with tourist information in the area, with information on events and contact information. There are also pictures of the four seasons' scenery seen from Mt. Takao. This is a wonderful photo (#^.^#)There is a plaza in front of Takao Sanso, and pine trees are planted around it. There are also benches set up so you can enjoy the scenery from Mt. Takao (*^^*)And this is the scenery that Mt. Takao is proud of! A wide rice field area with the Omono River flowing through the middle. Beyond that, you can see the Ou Mountains in the distance, and the cityscape of Daisen city below. We had a wonderful view! It's not the spring of water mirrors, nor the autumn of golden carpets, but I feel a little regretful that I came now, when the summer of fresh greenery has passed, but I guess I'm glad I got to see such a wonderful scenery (*´ω` )And I found an unexpected name! ``Mt. Horowa'' is the symbol of my hometown, Omori-cho, Yokote City. I had no idea that bandits were fleeing from my hometown to Mt. Takao...(;^_^AAfter learning about the connection with the local area, I started to like Mt. Takao even more (^^♪ Next time, I have to come and take pictures of the golden carpet of ripened rice ears ( *´艸`)
