Kiritanpo, Hinai chicken, maitake mushrooms, burdock, and parsley on the hearth♫They don't usually eat it, but they eat it for entertaining or celebrating occasions.

I had the valuable experience of making kiritanpo under the guidance of my very kind father and mother.Of course, both the miso danpo and hot pot were delicious. The hot springs were also nice.thank you very much.

Went to Yamauchi San’s place for Akita Kiritanpo making activity with Akita Inaka School! It was so fun meeting Yamauchi San and his wife, and making Kiritanpo together! The Kiritanpo meal was delicious! There were Akita chicken and a squash called ユウガオ(夕顔).We also got to paint Yamauchi San’s wall.Would love to visit again in the future!!Yamauchi San is an amazing man! His place was on NHK, definitely worth a visit!!!

The best hospitality from warm and kind parents. After the kiritanpo making experience, you can enjoy miso-glazed kiritanpo and kiritanpo hotpot baked in the irori hearth. If you make a reservation, you can also enjoy grilled fish. You can enjoy dancing and music played by the father, and if you like, you can also play drums, flute, guitar, violin, etc.You can also experience farming and calligraphy, and foreigners often visit. If you request in advance and it is mutually convenient, they will also give you sightseeing information around the area.An elderly couple manages everything. It would be a good idea to actively help with cleaning up.This is a recommended inn if you want to experience staying in a farmhouse in Akita. Please note that reservations can only be made through the government office.
