Hanakaikan's prices were very reasonable, but the baths and meals were luxurious, and the owners were a wonderful family.I stayed for 3 nights in mid-April, mainly on weekdays. On weekdays there were one or two other customers, and on Friday there were about 15 people. There seemed to be some customers who were using it for business trips. There is also a washing machine and dryer (coin-operated), which is helpful for travelers.The hot water in the bath was flowing directly from the source and was very pleasant. The hot spring source is hot, so the bath is quite hot, but it was a temperature that you could get used to within a few seconds. The bathtub was so large that about 10 people could comfortably soak in it, although we didn't share the bathtub with other customers. It's a luxurious bath that you won't get tired of even if you take a bath every day.Two of the three nights included meals. The portions were large and every side and main dish was delicious. Since I was staying for several nights, they changed the menu out of consideration, but the Kiritanpo hotpot they prepared on the first day was so delicious that I wanted to eat it every day.The room was a Japanese-style room without a bath or toilet to keep the budget down. There was a sink and toilet right nearby, so I was able to stay there without any problems and at a low price. The room feels a little dated, but it was spacious and considering the price, I have no complaints.The owner and family of the inn were kind and kind people. I was able to stay for 3 nights in a homey atmosphere, so I'm glad I chose Hanakaikan.

The inn is small and it feels like time has stopped.I think it's different for each person, but I was addicted to the heat of the hot springs here.It was so hot that even after I got out of the bath, I felt like I had to go back again and enjoy the hot spring over and over again.The thick horse chestnut tree at the entrance was impressive.

There were reviews that said there was no refrigerator and no boxes of tissues, so I prepared a cooler box in advance, so there was no problem. The temperature of the bath was just right, and the hot water was typical of Oyu Onsen. There were 4 groups staying there on the day, and it was quiet and relaxing. For dinner, I had fresh sashimi, steamed egg custard, Towada-style grilled pork, mozuku vinegar, white fish ajillo-style, and kiritanpo hot pot, all of which were delicious, and for someone over 60 years old, it was just the right amount of food. It is better to have less distance to travel to eat or take a bath.

I stayed here because I was able to use a coupon.This was my first time using the hotel, and after checking in, I was only given information about the location of the room and public bath, and no other explanations. I was told that dinner time would be around 18:30, but I was informed that it would be ready at 18:25.As for the food, I was full both in the morning and in the evening.It was delicious.The hot springs are flowing directly from the source and are very hot. I couldn't add water and didn't have a boiling stick. It's perfect for people who like hot hot springs.There are no tissues in the room, but pocket tissues are prepared for each person. There is also no refrigerator. Only shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the public bath.It was a good stay because it was cheap.
