I was impressed by the origin of the name, and the gushing hot springs were very interesting.

The hot spring ♨️ was great ~ It was quite deep in the mountains... Although it was summer, it was a little cold in the evening... There were reports of bear sightings nearby. Welcome drink🥤It was delicious~There seemed to be a lot of day trip guests, so there was a locked door at the border with the inn. I felt it was a little troublesome to go back and forth between the room and the hot springs. The hot springs are nice ♨️ The weather was bad so I couldn't enjoy the walk or the spectacular view...

Both the cafe and day trip hot springs were open until 15:00. I bought a T-shirt.The surrounding facilities are Showa-style, but this one has been renovated and feels new and fresh.

I was surprised that the open-air bath was so small, but it was nice.

Ryokan-style hotel that has shown some aging. Service is very good, however. Onsen water contains some “acidic” minerals that I’ve never experienced some place else. Overall, a nice experience. Can recommend.

We stayed here in early September. There was no air conditioning, but I was comfortable enough with the windows open.Anyway, hot springs are the best! The volcanic bath, box steam bath, and cascading hot spring bath were all great. The food was also more delicious than I expected. The staff were also kind.It was a place I would like to stay again.
