Matagi's inn is something I've always wanted to visit. The dinner was delicious. Plenty of mountain goodness. A relaxing accommodation. I used it on a fishing trip.

It feels like this is a hidden inn. There are stuffed bears and mats (⁉︎) everywhere, giving it a very atmospheric feel.It is run by a friendly couple.I was able to spend a very valuable time there listening to the story of Matagi. The room was clean and the futon was fluffy so I slept well. It's a charm that stink bugs sometimes appear because it's an inn in the mountains. There is no toilet or bath in the roomI think it can't be helped in this price range. As for the meals, we were served a variety of dishes using plenty of seasonal wild vegetables, and the bear hot pot that we ordered in advance was also delicious. This is a recommended inn for those interested in Matagi culture and Kumanabe.

It was a dish that took advantage of the power of natural ingredients, and although it may not be fancy, it was absolutely delicious. There were no dishes for children, but they served yogurt and Inaniwa udon.Definitely a repeat decision.

This is a wonderful inn that has passed down the authentic Matagi culture for 16 generations, and is stocked with hunting tools and taxidermy originating from the Matagi in a historic building.Inside the beautifully renovated building, there are many things to see and do, and you can relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the roadside station Amo, a supermarket is nearby, and you can easily walk to nature such as suspension bridges. No matter where you go, the dinners and breakfasts are made with plenty of seasonal ingredients from the mountains and rivers, and the breakfasts are full of delicacies you won't find anywhere else. The owner and landlady, both matagi, are kind and welcoming, making this an inn you'll want to visit again and again.

I used it when touring in Tohoku. The owner, a Matagi, also loves motorcycles and was very kind, and the food was very delicious, with plenty of wild vegetables and fish. The inn displayed actual materials about Matagi, and it was a valuable experience as it was an opportunity to learn about the culture ♫ (Incidentally, it is the hometown of Golden Kamuy Tanigaki Nishipa!)Good memories of AkitaI would like to use it when I visit again ♫

Everyone is kind. The wild vegetable dishes are delicious. Is there an extra charge for the bear pot? It has no smell and is the best😃⤴️⤴️By the way, it costs 2000 yen per person. Reservation required 🙆
