The woman at the front desk at check-in spoke in a low voice and spoke quickly, making it difficult to understand what she was saying. The building was very spacious and our room was in the east building, but it was quite a walk to get to the bathroom. The room was clean, but I was a little concerned about the voices of the people next door.

I arrived at 16:00 and was supposed to check in, but I had to wait for almost an hour because I had a hard time dealing with foreigners at the reception. The room was nice and spacious, but it smelled like an old man. The smell of aging is terrible. There was hair that looked like an old man's hair on the tatami and it was dirty. The only washing area is in the indoor bath. The indoor bath was very nice. The open-air bath smells like disinfectant. It's full of bugs and makes me feel nauseous.

On the day I visited, I had a small accident...but the staff took care of me by borrowing the bathroom in the hotel downstairs and taking a bath. They did their best to accommodate me. The bowler was fixed, but until then, it seemed like everyone was in trouble because they couldn't use hot water. On the day we returned, it was fine. There was a hot spring, and I was glad ⤴️⤴️✨

It is only a matter of time before Lockwood in Aomori gets a bad reputation, as the food and service have clearly deteriorated since it became the Ordinary Kamenoi Hotel.

The name was changed to Kamenoi Hotel. Meals are also served as a buffet, so the dinner was a little disappointing. The room and bathroom are satisfactory.

It was in the east building, so the bath and dining area were a little far away. As an elderly person, going up and down the stairs while carrying luggage seemed difficult. The room is a Japanese style room with a bed, and the bed is very comfortable. There are 4 outlets, so charging your smartphone, etc. is no problem.I own two hot springs. There is no washing area in the open-air bath. The food is of Kamenoi quality and includes Akita specialties and game dishes.

On the second night of our 6-day Tohoku drive, we climbed the mountain road on Route 194 from Kakunodate to Kamenoi Hotel Tazawako. There was a large parking lot in front of the hotel, and our room was a large room with twin beds in the east building, but it was quite a distance from the front desk and dining hall. The large public bath and open-air bath are separate, and I was told that there was no washing area in the open-air bath, so I didn't use it, but the Sennin-yu in the large public bath was spacious and my skin felt smooth even after taking a bath. .Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style. For dinner, we also had local dishes such as sandfish and kiritanpo, and game dishes such as fried Ezo deer Tatsuta.
