### What I likedComfy place. Everything is nicely set up. There's a washer, and it can also dry your clothes. But it's quite though since we always go out in the morning, and come back at night, so we cannot really fully utilize the dryer since it will loud if we use it while sleeping. At least there's tatami mat, so we just spread all of our clothes on the tatami mat and hope that it will dry by the next day.Floor heating is really nice as well. You can set the temperature accordingly. There's AC as well, of course. There was someone else staying above us, I remember they came back at around 11 PM almost every night. Surprisingly not that loud and we were able to sleep just fine. There's a neighborhood cat. Really cute and confident. Too confident I must say. We were just coming in and that cat slipped in really quick like they own the place. Tails all high and up while walking inside the unit. Luckily we were able to stop the cat from getting onto the tatami mat area. Probably it's someone's outdoor cat? No collar though. But the cat was fine being picked up and didn't complain at all. Even more surprising that they try to get back in after being picked up. So, definitely comfortable around humans.### What I didn't likeThe "Japanese" bed style is literally just a thin futon on top of tatami mat. If you want to train to be a monk, pick this one. Otherwise, make sure to pick the one with a real mattress. We tried asking for an extra layer of futon, but the host said that "all of our set are designed for Japanese people", additional mattresses would cost us about 5000 yen extra. We didn't get them and just continued with our accidental monk training.... Not too bad, just got woken up in the middle of the night quite a few times to switch position. Your back will be straight. There is no cloth that we could use to wipe the table, or any surface. Say we use the table to eat some food. There's nothing that we could use to wipe the table. There's some tissue, but it's facial tissue. Host needs to leave a small towel or some piece of cloth, or even paper towels, so that guests could wipe the table, etc.Lastly, there's a blinding light from the outside. The host needs to put some curtain on the window there. I could sleep just fine, but for someone who's sensitive to lights, make sure to bring some eye mask for sleeping. Again, blinding light from across the street.
