I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Guest House Kazami! The hostel is perfectly situated for exploring Ise, only a short walk from the station and the beautiful Ise Jingu, and within walking distance of the supermarket and some cool cafes and bars. We felt very welcomed by the friendly staff, and the hostel was sociable yet never rowdy. The room and shared spaces were all very clean and bright. I enjoyed the tasteful wooden decor, and the courtyard with a tree in the center of the hostel was so pretty. I definitely recommend a stay at Kazami for your trip to Ise!

I booked a private room after reading the highly rated reviews. At first glance, the interior is warm and cute, but when you enter the room, you'll find a dead insect the size of a wasp stuck in the mattress, a mysterious tissue coming out from under the mattress, and pubic hair on the floor. It's falling down and I feel bad... I doubted whether it was properly cleaned. The walls are thin and you can hear your surroundings very well. A live-in helper? It was active until almost 24:00, and since my room was right below it, I couldn't sleep because of the noise of walking. (It's not the helpers' fault as they are responsible for turning off the lights, etc., but the walls are that thin.) The kitchen, which anyone can use, is occupied by the helpers morning and night, so be careful. I'll use it. We passed each other several times, but I was so engrossed in the food that I basically ignored them. When I checked out, I didn't even get a word of "Thank you", so I felt like I was staying in a cheap dormitory in Southeast Asia. Since there were many Japanese customers, I would have liked to see a little more Japanese-style hospitality. The other woman at the front desk greeted me every time I passed her, and she kindly told me a lot of other things.

I will write a review from a female perspective.I hope this will be helpful to those considering staying in a dormitory.【good】The rooms are clean. The restroom was also clean and had no smell. There are tea bags of instant coffee, black tea, and green tea in the kitchen that you can use freely. You can get bread for 100 yen each.It was close to Ise City Station, making it convenient for visiting Ise.[Points that caught my attention]The shower room is small, has lots of mold, and has a dry smell.Hair stuck to the wall of the shower room (This is unavoidable since it is shared, but I would like guests staying in the room to think about the next person who will use the room.)The dormitory room smells like chemicals (smells like insect repellent)Eating and drinking inside the dormitory was prohibited, so I had to go to the common space on the first floor every time. There was no air conditioner on the first floor, so it was too hot to relax.I have stayed in dormitories several times in the past, but I felt that the price of nearly 4,000 yen was high.It can't be helped because of the impact of high prices.【service】There is no customer service other than explanation at check-in.If you don't understand something, just ask and they will answer.Even though it's a guesthouse, you can spend your time at your own pace as long as you don't have to do anything yourself.I feel sorry for the staff members when I wander around during dinner time.If you are traveling alone, I think you can stay for about half the market price.Depending on the time of year, I think hotels may be better in terms of service, so I hope you can choose a nice accommodation by prioritizing what you want to focus on most.

As soon as I entered, I was excited by the smell of wood, the stylish hexagonal tables and chairs (made from scrap wood from an elementary school!), and the spiral staircase that looked like a secret base!A six-pointed star on the door, sacred geometry on the pillars, Himmeli on the ceiling, the building itself is dodecagonal, and it seems that a lot of energy is used in shapes such as semen and threaded mandala.Although it wasn't large, the ceiling was high and bright, giving it an open feeling that made it easy to breathe. The shared kitchen was stylish and clean, and I liked the taste in books and manga!Little shelves, poles, etc. all over the place are so convenient that you can reach those itchy places! It was created by someone who has traveled all over the world, so it was very attentive and tasteful. To take a bath, I went to a public bath called Okage Furotate Asahiyu by car, but I think it's a long way to go on foot.I stayed in a fully booked dormitory for Obon.I had heard that it was a bit noisy, but the users were all calm and nice people, smiling and greeting each other quietly. There was no discomfort or inconvenience whatsoever, and it was a comfortable and good night's sleep! You can visit the Geku from 5 a.m., so we recommend getting up early to enjoy a peaceful visit. It was such a comfortable space that I wanted to stay there for about a month or live and work there. The staff were friendly and fun to talk to!Thank you very much♡Please let me use you again!

Stayed on July 20, 2024A guest house located in Ise City, about 5 minutes walk from Ise City Station and Ujiyamada Station. The first time I stayed there was about 7 or 8 years ago, and at that time it was in a building that hadn't been renovated.Renovated in 2018, it has a unique wooden wall and beautiful form. This time too, I stayed in a private room on the first floor. In the middle of the first floor, there was a nagi tree planted in the atrium, making it very comfortable. The second floor has a dormitory room, a kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony for drying clothes. In the kitchen, there is also a 100 yen bread corner provided by a nearby bakery.I spoke with the helper again this time, and I was happy to see that he was very friendly. The owner, Hiromichi, was also very friendly. I heard that he couldn't come to the guest house very often because he was raising a child, but I was happy to meet him and talk to him when I was checking out.Their Instagram is often updated, and I went to bed early this time so I wasn't able to drink, but at night the lobby becomes like a bar where you can drink local beer and domestic gin, so it's a great place to talk about your trip.

This is the cheapest accommodation near Iseshi Station. Besides, it was clean and the bed was quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from the station, making it perfect for visiting the shrine.

I am 49 years old and have finished raising my children, so this is my first solo trip in a while. It was a guest house where I could sleep soundly, have a clean environment, and blend into the local area where wonderful young people work hard. There was a public bath and a supermarket within a 10 minute walk, and it was conveniently close to Ise City Station and Geku. thank you for helping me

I stayed here on a solo bike tour.I'm glad I asked in advance if I could park my bike. The location, cleanliness, staff, and customer manners were very good, and I was able to sleep very quietly.I think this is a high quality guest house. The 100 yen bread mentioned in the reviews was also very delicious. Definitely recommended if you come to Ise
