I went to Tamagawa Onsen, the most acidic hot spring in Japan, for the first time.Hot springs are divided into 100% source and 50% source. Your skin will become smooth and your body will be moisturized, but it can be very irritating for people with sensitive skin.Around the third day, eczema appears and soaks in! ️Many people come here to receive treatment for cancer, rheumatism, and the aftereffects of cerebral infarction. In particular, there are bedrock baths both indoors and outdoors, but outdoors is natural and even under a tent it will be extremely hot and sweaty.Strangely enough, after the bedrock bath, my core feels so warm that I can sleep very well at night.Meals are buffet-style, but as you would expect from a medical inn, the ingredients are mainly local vegetables, and the main selection is fish and meat, which changes every day so you won't get bored. The taste is bland, but delicious. This is an inn that I would like to stay at many times for the sake of my body 😁

2024/10/14Autumn leaves are in full bloom.2024/09/27The trees in the mountains are starting to change color. At this rate, the best time to see them will be around mid-October.2023/11/30Today is the end of this season's business. Closed during the winter season.Shin-Tamagawa is open during the winter season, so please use it.Please note that even if you come to Tamagawa Onsen during the winter season, you will not be able to take a bath or use the facility at all. In addition, it is not possible to observe the outdoor bedrock or the large fountain (trespassing is prohibited).2023/11/06The best time to see the autumn leaves has ended, and now that the weather is getting colder, you can soak in the warmth of the hot springs.2023/11/01We were ranked 4th in Rakuten Travel's 2023 ranking of hot spring hotels with high customer reviews for their baths (2nd place last year)! The autumn leaves are coming to an end, but the area around Tamagawa Dam is in full bloom. How about visiting a hot spring? We will be open in November and will be open until the end of this month. There are only a few days left for this season's bathing season.2023/10/23The first snow fell, but it has now melted and we can enjoy the autumn leaves. The sunny days will continue, so I think we'll be able to enjoy the holidays until the beginning of next month.2023/10/14It's now the best time to see the autumn leaves!I think the fall foliage season will end in about two weeks, so go early.2023/10/04It's a little early for the autumn leaves season. The temperature in the early morning was 10 degrees. My breath is white. The trees won't change color unless they experience a little colder weather. However, this summer is a bit worrying as some trees have lost their leaves or died before they change color due to the highest temperatures in recorded history.2023/05/09There was a blizzard the day before, which is unusual for May, and the scenery was covered in snow. After one night, the sun was shining brightly, and I felt so cheerful that even just a walk made me sweat a little. The remaining snow under the roof will probably disappear by the end of the day.2023/04/04Opening is April 16th2022/12/20Tamagawa Onsen is not open during winter."Shin Tamagawa Onsen" is open for business.Very rarely, there are customers who walk from Shintama to Tamagawa Onsen on the snowy road. Even if you come to Tamatsukuri Onsen, the outdoor bedrock has been dismantled and snow removal has not been done, so you cannot take a bedrock bath. Also, entry is prohibited.2022/11/04This is the first snow observation. Winter is finally here.2022/10/22The autumn leaves are coming to an end. However, since the area at the foot of the mountain is at its peak, I think it would be better to take a course that allows you to enjoy the hot springs while viewing the autumn leaves.2022/10/16This is the perfect time to see the autumn leaves. I think it will pass its peak in 2 days. If you come from Lake Tazawa, there are many tunnels of trees with beautiful autumn leaves, so I think you'll enjoy them.2022/10/14The autumn leaves have progressed considerably due to the cool mornings and evenings. It's about 60%. I think you will be satisfied whether you come from Lake Tazawa or Kazuno.2022/10/11The autumn leaves are about 40% colored.2022/10/08The best time to see the autumn leaves is still a little while. It looks like the green leaves have changed to lime green. However, when I came to see the autumn leaves, I was not dissatisfied with the changing colors, but rather I was disappointed. In addition, since the outdoor bedrock bath gets cold in the mornings and evenings, guests can take a bedrock bath indoors, so please go there.2022/10/04The autumn leaves will be here for a while. The red foliage is just beginning to change color, and the leaves are sparsely autumnal, like tangerines that were picked early. Maybe about 10 days left.2022/10/01The autumn leaves won't change color for a while.

[Parking] 15:00 I was able to park in front of the building because I was staying in a self-catering building.[Building] It looks like the building has been added to the building, so the dining room and public bath are separate buildings, but there is communication between them, but it's hard to tell.[Nature research path]Steam is ejected dynamically and makes noise. A sight that is hard to see.The outside bedrock bath is almost empty if you go from 6am. It starts to get crowded around 8 o'clock. Some places are quite hot. Prepare pillows that are heat resistant and can get dirty. It is convenient to have a hook for hanging luggage.[Indoor bath] Classic retro design. Steam baths are a creation of the Edo period. The strong acidic water gives me a tingling sensation.[Indoor bedrock bath] Is it because it became chargeable from October? I was able to make a reservation easily. However, it is hotter outdoors. Until you pay...【room】Self-catering club. The room is small. The futon is fluffy. The toilet is right in front of me, and I never meet anyone in the toilet.[Dinner] Lots of variety. Kiritanpo is deliciousIt was so hot.[After checking out] You will receive a ticket to use Tamagawa Onsen until 12:00 or a one-day ticket to Shin Tamagawa Onsen.【washing machine】Available from 9am to 9pm. Located in each building. There are 5 self-catering units and 5 dryers on the right side of the entrance on the first floor. Please bring your own washing powder.[Conclusion]If you come this far, you'll want to stay at least 2 nights. I want to recover slowly.

Bedrock bathing in nature In the summer, some people take their mats with them as early as 4 a.m.... Some people didn't go into the hut, but lay down on the mats! ️ For your health... Everyone at the inn is kind. Some people who have cancer laughed and told me that they are coming here in their last moments of hope. Some people also told me that they had been coming here for 25 years... Stage 4 gave them the ticket to life. However, it's been 5 and a half years since I came here, and it's thanks to you that I'm alive...I was impressed by how cheerful everyone I met was! ️I was told that I would be lucky if I could get a single-person room with a toilet. The best part was that I was able to go to the toilet without worrying about other people as it was close to the toilet❗️ The meal was a buffet with lots of vegetables.

I was staying at Shin Tamagawa Onsen and took the free bus to this bedrock bath.I like bedrock baths and have been to many kinds of bedrock baths, but this one is my favorite.Basically, a place with a roof is the right temperature, but it's also great to touch the stones and find the temperature you like and take a bedrock bath!As for the mat, the sturdy foldable mat from the store is just the right thickness and easier to carry than the one you bought for 100 yen. It's a good idea to bring a mat, a large bath towel or sheet, a pillow towel, and clothes you don't mind sweating. It was the same at Shin Tamagawa Onsen, but the customers were very kind.I often saw people giving in and helping each other if someone was in trouble. Many times, I've been asked to come here because it's empty. Of course, the same goes for the hotel staff.I've traveled to many places, but this is the first time I've been to a place where the staff and customers are so kind.I would like to come again this time for consecutive nights. The bus ride from Tazawako Station took about an hour and cost about 1,500 yen. You can use PayPay and touch payment type credit cards.

I was able to stay in a single room with a toilet for three nights. There are only a few single-person rooms with toilets, so it is difficult to make a reservation. It was newly renovated and I felt very comfortable. The meals consisted mainly of vegetables, and the outside rock bath hut was always full of people, so I reserved an indoor bedrock bath once in the morning and once in the afternoon. My body felt warm and my blood circulation improved and I felt great! ️After washing off my sweat in the hot spring and returning to my room to take a break, the day went by in the blink of an eye. Yahari Coco is a spa. I wanted to stay there for at least a week.
