I was only in Okinawa for 4 days but I stayed all here. The pension is very tastefully furnished. I appreciated the fridge and air conditioning in the room. The location of the guesthouse in the middle of the island is ideal for trips anywhere. The cuisine of the owners is absolutely excellent, breakfast and dinner are made from local ingredients, teas from local cinnamon and jam from Rokugatsu from the family orchard are a taste dream. The owner speaks English, she is happy to explain the customs of Okinawa, local products and the like. She was very helpful and supportive. Thanks for a great Okinawa experience.

April 9, 2024 First solo trip to Okinawa around 8pmLost and exhausted, I rang the front door bell of Pension Weekend to ask for help. The goddess (owner) came out from the back and asked, ``Shall I take you there?'' She took the car out to our accommodation for the day in the intricate terrain.Despite the sudden night visit and other inconveniences I caused, I couldn't express my gratitude to you all for your help in such a smart and kind manner. When I gave him a heartfelt thank you, he received a postcard drawn by his uncle, telling him that he was planning crowdfunding for the pension.Although we were not able to enjoy the delicious meal or stay overnight this time, the owner's personality is definitely the best.Thank you very much for your help that night.

It was a very nice pension. The owner was very attentive and even though I arrived late at night, they brought hot water to my room, making my stay very comfortable. The breakfast was also very delicious, and I had a very happy time eating while talking with the other guests, surrounded by homemade jams, coffee made for each guest, vintage American furniture, and folk art. I want to come again!

I stayed here as a solo traveler, and it was a really nice place! The entire inn is unified in a Western style, and each piece of furniture and miscellaneous goods is fashionable. All of the meals were made with local ingredients, allowing us to feel closer to Okinawa. The phantom mandarin orange jam is especially recommended! Also, being able to walk to the beach in just a few minutes was appealing!

A gem of Okinawa, B&B Pension Weekend is a small inn with a charming old world elegance located 20 minutes South of Nago.  Along with the kind and attentive owner, what made this inn stand out is the excellent cuisine including an optional Japanese style dinner. It was a pleasure to return from a day of activities, shower, relax, and be served an excellent and healthy dinner. Expecting to eat in one night, we elected to dine at B&B Pension Weekend every night of our 4 night stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay close to many great yakiniku restaurants and some of the best dive sites on the island. Seira was very accommodating, helping me take care of luggage and make bookings. She and her mother prepared healthy meals for breakfast and dinner using diverse local ingredients. They also went out of their way to pick me up when I fell asleep on the last bus heading north and ended up in Nago, 7 miles away. The rooms are large, the place is clean, and the customer service is outstanding.

I sometimes get dinner bento boxes that are sold by reservation every Tuesday and Saturday. Each carefully crafted dish uses plenty of seasonal local vegetables, making it well-balanced and enjoyable for both the eyes and the palate, as well as the sense of security that comes from knowing that you've eaten plenty of vegetables, so you'll be satisfied. Very expensive every time. However, is the price really worth it? I feel so sorry. Highly recommended for those staying or living nearby.Addendum (2023.3.15)The other day, I had a special course meal of ``Tukumbu'', an imaginary mandarin orange that is only available seasonally.``Tukumbu'' is a mandarin orange that was grown by an old man who was very knowledgeable about plants. A mandarin orange known only to those in the know, like a treasure buried in the mountains. Have a glass of this juice before a meal, and the refreshing acidity will stimulate your appetite. We have an assortment of appetizers made with plenty of locally grown vegetables, soup, rice balls made from local rice, and the main dish, sautéed pork, uses the skin of ``Tukumbu'' as the sauce. Although the portions are generous, the course meal is mainly made with vegetables and is filling. You'll be relieved by the unique Okinawan flavors of mom's dishes, such as white-dressed bittern, papaya pickled in soy sauce, and stir-fried island rakkyo.I forgot to take a photo, but I had guava jelly, mango, and lembu compote for dessert. Both the coffee and tea after the meal were made in Okinawa, and it was a very valuable food experience.

It says it was just renovated.A very clean and stylish inn. When you open the door, it feels like an art museum. The rooms are cute, but still old.A very relaxing room.Best of all, the food is the best.Okinawa is a treasure trove of ingredients! Even people in the prefecture may not know about the phantom mandarin orange ``Tokunbu''. A wonderful dinner and breakfast prepared with love from the people of the prefecture, such as making jams and pickles from ingredients that are said to be popular among locals. This alone is worth coming to this inn.I learned a lot.We had a great time.A family-run pension with a very warm atmosphere. That's right.I haven't stayed in a pension recently.I thought it would be great to stay in a place where you can feel the warmth of the people and feel love for the local area.I will come back to stay again.Apparently you can come just for lunch.I'll come back later. thank you very much.
