We stayed there for one night. Unfortunately, the room was dirty, a lot of black hair laying around, no AC. Moreover the shower room is really old and full of mould. It was unpleasant experience

The proprietress of this old B&B by the lake is very welcoming. Although she doesn’t understand English, she can communicate with you slowly using Japanese or translation software. The room is spacious and clean, and the bathroom and toilet are also well organized. It’s really comfortable to live here. The view from the room is great. Outside the window are Mt. Nantai and Lake Chuzenji. You can listen to the sound of waves (the sound of lake waves) while sleeping at night. There is a vending machine outside the B&B for drinks in the evening. Tea bags and hot water will be provided upon check-in.The food and accommodation provided by the B&B are really attentive and perfect. Everything is made from local ingredients and is simple and delicious. You must try it.Breakfast and dinner are traditional Japanese food, and for lunch you can ask them to help prepare rice balls to take out.Breakfast time is from 7 to 8, just show up at any time. Please show up at the appointed time for dinner. All can add food.Bathing time is ~11pm. It is cleansing time the next morning, so please go and wash early. Towels, bathrobes, toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided.

The owner and the elderly couple were very nice people, and since it was a cheap guesthouse, all of my concerns were dispelled.Since it's a guesthouse, you have to share the toilet and bath, but I think it's not a problem if you're not a big fan of hygiene. It has good access to the former Italian embassy villa and Tachiki Kannon, and there is a disembarkation point at Tachiki Kannon for sightseeing tours, so the location seems to be quite good. The reason I haven't given it a ☆5 is because I stayed overnight without meals and didn't eat dinner.I would like to try dinner the next time I stay.I am very happy with the wonderful customer service.

It is a cozy accommodation with a very high CP value. The meals are rich and the landlady is very kind. It feels like going to my grandma's house. Outside the room is Lake Chuzenji and Mt. Nantai. It is very enjoyable to sit at the kotatsu table, drink tea and enjoy the scenery.

The room with the Lake view is great. With car park . The main building the common area has no hot water. Overall the food is great and enjoy very much the conventional ryokan.
