If you like quietness, amenities, hot tubs, 4 star hotels, and places with a high walk score this is it. I must return next time! 24 mins from HND airport. Close to the Kawasaki trains 5 blocks away.

I just raved about this Dormy Inn on Hotels.com so you can get the scoop there too, but I'm thinking--all the staff who work there, and the care & upkeep of the facility... have somehow made a "3 star" hotel a 5 star experience! I will definitely choose to stay here again over other hotels, and recommend this to friends. You MUST get the breakfast buffet option. For ~$16USD, let's just say this was totally worth the money. I hear about complaints of how 2300yen is expensive, but anyone from any major US metro area, $16USD for THAT amount and quality of food, is a reallllly good deal. Thank me later :) Our friend opted out of the breakfast and after we saw it, we felt SO bad for him.Between the EXCELLENT service staff, the thoughtful amenities (welcome water bottle and cute little pudding cups for each guest), a set of towels/bath clothes/slippers, the BLACK WATER ONSEN (wow!), massage chairs, free popsicles, late night homemade soba noodles, manga, outdoor patio, washing/dryer machines, after check-out luggage storage, this place was Da BoMb.Thank you guys so much, everyone working those 2 days 10/5 into 10/6 from the front desk, cleaning staff, soba chef (she was amazing and served everyone all by herself SO quickly), the breakfast team (extremely cohesive, nothing ever ran low)...was SO professional. PLEASE reward your staff, they did such an excellent, above-and-beyond job in every role at this hotel.

This is a business hotel with a clean and large hot spring bath. The interior of the room was adequate and there was a hot spring bath on the 15th floor, so there was only a shower booth. It was convenient because there were about 4 elevators, and snacks were provided at different times, so I was able to enjoy pleasant service. After the hot springs, you can watch free cartoons or eat free ice cream while watching the night view. They gave us free yogurt in the morning. The downside is that transportation is a bit far as it is 10 minutes away from the subway station.

I stayed in many Dormys across Japan, and this is one of my favorites. While dealing with jetlag, this place had an overnight restaurant nearby. With the hot bath and massage chair, the hotel provided a complete set of recovery. This is a big city, the room is relatively smaller. opt in for the premium Queens' room if you can.
