This hotel is the most unique hotel I have ever stayed in. Although the location is relatively remote, in the end it felt like everything was worth it.The hotel is located in a rural area, quiet, with pleasant scenery and simple folk customs. When entering the hotel, there is a chestnut field in the parking lot, which feels very cute. I am very grateful that the weather was very good on the day I checked in, with plenty of sunshine. There was sunlight passing through the trees. The picture was very beautiful and poetic. The architectural style of the hotel is also very special. It looks like a small house in a cartoon and feels warm. The house is fully equipped, including pajamas and various toiletries. Since there is not enough light outside at night, flashlights are also provided inside the house, which is very attentive. Then there is a small kitchen with a stove for guests to cook. It feels like they can stay here for a month. The catering is also very rich, and the menu can be adjusted to accommodate my inability to eat raw food, which is very comforting. Every dish of food is exquisite and delicious, and the ingredients feel fresh. And the most special thing is that there are stargazing activities for residents to participate in at night, which is indeed a very unique experience. The first activity is to go to the screening room to watch images about the universe. The second activity is to use an astronomical telescope to see the moon, Vega, Saturn, etc. with your own eyes and explain some astronomical knowledge. Since neither I nor my husband understand Japanese, the staff tried their best to explain to us in English. And the last activity, the third activity, is the highlight! ! The staff has prepared something like a sleeping bag that guests can lie in, so that they can lie down comfortably and warm to watch the stars. There is also a fire nearby and hot drinks prepared so that the residents can stay warm and gather together after stargazing. chat.Overall, this hotel is an extraordinary hotel. If you are very interested in astronomy, stargazing, or natural scenery, I highly recommend you try staying in this hotel. I believe you will get very deep memories.

I think it's good for getting away from the heat.I want to stay for a long time. There is floor heating in the winter, so you may feel safe.Apparently there are no ski resorts.Breakfast was delicious. Except for the slightly sour dressing.

Checked in on 2024/07 and was lucky enough to have a clear night during the rainy season. The meals and stargazing activities are very good, the staff are very fluent in English and friendly, the library has a lot of astronomy magazines and books, and there is a beautiful forest nearby. Although the hotel building is relatively old, the rooms are clean and spacious. The only inconvenience is that most rooms have to climb stairs. It is recommended to pack your belongings in advance and just leave the large suitcase in the car.The stargazing activities are provided with Japanese and English explanations at the same time, focusing on the introduction of the starry sky that night. There is (almost) the second largest astronomical telescope in Kyushu. During the observation experience, the staff will share many fantastic astronomical photography. Finally, I would lie on the grass (camp bed) and watch the stars. The smell of the campfire, the sound of the wind blowing through the woods, and the sky full of stars. I was inexplicably moved at the moment. It was great to experience all this. This was my favorite place to stay on this trip and I definitely want to visit again.
