A month ago, my husband and I visited Shonishikikan on a trip. Thank you very much for coming a little early even though we had to force ourselves to do so.The room is a pure Japanese style room with new tatami mats and the Kumamon decoration on the border is very impressive.

They were very kind to me.Both dinner and breakfast were delicious.All the staff were kind and we had a comfortable time.The location is difficult to reach if you own a car, rent a car, or can't take a taxi.Although you can't swim in the sea, you can see the ocean that stretches everywhere from your room.I would like to visit again.thank you very much!

However, the friendly and attentive nature of the inn made for a very comfortable stay.Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the first and second floors have been almost exclusively reserved for two groups of customers per day on each floor.The two bathhouses in the hotel, one on the sea side and the other on the national highway side, are designated for each group and are reserved 24 hours a day during their stay.By the way, I apologize to the customers on the first floor, but all the students had reserved the second floor, which had a great view.However, in the upcoming season, there will be a lot of blood-sucking mosquitoes, so be careful when opening and closing the windows!The only downfall was that the night breeze was so pleasant that even though there was a screen door, I couldn't help but open the window fully and gaze out at the sea. Then the whole night was really tough (lol)As you know, this inn serves seafood dishes from the sushi restaurant next door.At the sushi restaurant next door, the young husband of the inn, his parents, and his younger brother are standing in front of the sushi restaurant.This inn is an inn business based on "cooperative play" between families 😊So in the evening, after taking a bath and before dinner, I suddenly popped into a sushi restaurant and had a glass of ice-cold draft beer! A seaside inn with only two rooms per dayIt's right on the ocean, so you can enjoy an unobstructed view of Yatsushiro Bay from the rooms on the second floor (I might recommend a room on the second floor).It feels very nice as the sea breeze blows through.This time I had dinner at a sushi restaurant next door, so I didn't eat the food at the hotel, but I think it's from the same kitchen, so both were delicious.Mimi squid 🦑 is in season in winter, so be sure to try it!I like squid, so I personally like it because it's delicious.Both boiled in salt and nigiri are delicious.The inn is bright and clean, and the staff are soft-spoken and attentive.There is almost no noise in the building, so you can sleep peacefully at night, and you can use the private bath in your room, so you can use it whenever you like 24 hours a day.The room is spacious, so you can relax, and there is a hidden Kumamon, so be sure to look for him 🔍The bathtub is spacious enough to fit about 10 people🛁, so you can take your time and the water pressure is perfect.The toilet and bath are not attached to the room, but it doesn't matter because the entire building is reserved for private use.If you have a car, you can enjoy many things such as nearby restaurants and local product stores, and you can also go to Kumamon Park by driving for 30 minutes.Next time I would like to stay with meals included.It was a very comfortable inn 👍
