There is a signboard on the side of the road, so you won't get lost. There are several parking lots in front of the inn.Go up a few stairs to the main building at the front desk. The main building is an old folk house built over 170 years ago and relocated from Kumamoto's village headman.Although it is not barrier-free, there are few stairs and the accommodation building is one-story.It's nice to be served light tea and sweets in your room, which is typical of a Japanese inn.The free-flowing hot springs are hot, and the temperature is adjusted by adding tap water. You can enter the family bath if it is empty. One of the family baths is the rose flower bath, where you can put rose flowers from a basket if you like. You can experience a gorgeous and romantic time ♪When it's time to eat, I go to the restaurant behind the front desk. It's a private room with table seating, so you can rest assured. There is no menu, but the staff will explain each item one by one.All dishes are carefully prepared and have a gentle taste. The hot food was served piping hot, and the pairing with alcohol was delicious.Everything was made with originality and was a fun and delicious meal. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again.

Although it is not a high-class inn, the rooms are comfortable and you can wake up in the morning to the sound of a skylark. Both dinner and breakfast are delicious meals that bring out the flavors of the ingredients.

The food was also very satisfying! When I went outside, the starry sky was beautiful and I was able to see the ISS and CSS clearly at the right time! In June, you can even see fireflies in the river just a short walk away. Although it is a private hot spring, the temperature is high so you need to adjust the temperature with water.

The bath, the food, the service, it was a relaxing stay.Although it was almost cold, there were used towel racks and new towels placed casually in the quaint rest area, but the tempura of butterbur sprouts gave a spring feel, and plum sprigs added color to the appetizers.I had a conversation with the landlady and she offered me some white rice after the black rice, but I was so hungry that I had to decline.Yamame The fish and meat were both great! Thank you for the enjoyable trip.

The futon mattress had two layers, so I was able to sleep comfortably. The futons at the second inn were thin, so I felt the comfort of the futons at this inn was even more comfortable. The rice was delicious, and the rice was delicious. There are four outdoor baths, but only three are available during the winter season.I went there in mid-December, and you can't go without a studless car. It's snowing.

2024.01.13 I went back because I was able to take it easy last time. This time as well, I booked a room with a hot spring in the room. This time, the matcha welcome drink came with sweet potato sweets. This is also handmade. The flavor of the sweet potato was concentrated and delicious. Although it was winter when the temperature was low, it was nice to relax in the hot springs, which were neither too hot nor too lukewarm. The amount of food was more than enough and I was satisfied. This time as well, there were only three private baths, including the rose bath. (It seems that the water temperature was so low that it was impossible to do 4 baths.)2023.07 We used this inn for the second night of our 3 nights and 4 days trip to Oita. Upon arrival, you will be shown to your room and have a leisurely check-in. The matcha welcome drink and handmade water yokan made me think, ``This is the place to stay!''There are four hot springs that can be reserved for private use, but the temperature had dropped due to heavy rain every day, so we decided to use two to maintain the temperature and increase satisfaction. What's more, it's been a long time since I took a bath with a large rose floating in the bath, so it was very relaxing. The hot spring that came with the room had just the right temperature, and by the next day I had been in it nearly 10 times, grinning with satisfaction. All of the meals were delicious, using seasonal ingredients, and the Tanabata decorations were also nice. The Bungo beef was also very thick, and the horse sashimi was more than I could eat, so I ended up giving it to my husband. I was really grateful that she noticed that I was full before I even had a meal and asked, ``Would you like me to take the food to my room?''I became a fan of the inn because everyone, including the proprietress, was friendly and always had a smile on her face. This is an inn that I definitely want to come back to when I go to Oita again.
