We are travelers from Hong Kong.I couldn't rate on booking.com due to system error. However, I must rate this one if the best guesthouse I have experienced. 100 stars guesthouse. For value: it is very reasonable to stay in such a beautiful local traditional house. You can experience the incredible stay there.Location: The guest is near the bus station so that you can go to Aso station easily or back to Kumamoto. It is quiet and surrounded by an amazing landscape. The host showed us how to see the unforgettable view of stars. Besides, it is next to Onsen, you can go relaxing after hiking. It is closed to grab some food.Service: The host is very very very creative and lovely. It is impressive that he made everything by himself. We can feel his passion of introducing his hometown to the visitors. The host has true hospitality. Flexible and comfortable.Facilities: The host has considered everything. You can find all the things you need in the guesthouse. ALL.The house has traditional decorations and clean. And the storage looks cute and creative. The bon fire was fantastic.Different from other hostels in Japan, you can take a shower and dry your hair anytime because it is separated from your bedroom. We regretted that we didn't reserve for more nights. We love this guesthouse a lot. As a casual traveler, it is the perfect choice in Aso.

I used it with a friend the other day. I had a great time! At night, we sat outside around a bonfire, had dinner, roasted marshmallows, and roasted sweet potatoes (the roasted sweet potatoes were roasted on the spot! It was really delicious!), and the time we spent chatting with each other became a memory of our trip. …. In addition, the owner, Jaken, gave us advice on things to see in Aso, when to see the best views, how to get around, etc., and we were able to fully enjoy Aso from start to finish! (They also told me about some hidden spots, so I went there and the views were spectacular!) Also, I would like to use them when I come to Aso! Thank you so much!

I really enjoyed my 3 day stay in Asobi Gokoro. The Host was so nice, he gave us some really good insides about Aso (where to eat, where to enter the buses…). The hostel is very sweet and clean and you can reach everythink necessary by walking. Or take one of the bikes of the hostel. You can also enjoy a BBQ or a campfire in the evening. Huge recommendation!

I used it for the first time in Aso for the third time. Maybe here? ? The owner, Mr. Jaken, who noticed me as I was slowly driving around, greeted me with a big smile and showed me the parking lot, and the fatigue from my trip was completely blown away♪When checking in, I was given information about the surrounding area of the inn. It was the first time I was so excited to learn about local information, as he explained things politely and in a fun way from a customer's perspective. When I told them that I love Aso and this area, it was immediately obvious, and I was able to spend my time there with a very warm feeling. In the evening, the rain during the day had subsided, and after sitting around the bonfire and seven charcoal wheels prepared by Mr. Jaken, I said to my pregnant wife, ``I'm so glad you were able to come here today,'' which will be a memory that will last a lifetime. think.Next time, I would definitely like to bring my slightly older child with me!Jaken-san, thank you so much for the fun time! From Sen-chan of Tottori
