I used it for one night in mid-October 2024. We had two bikes, but the space in front of the entrance was sheltered from the rain, so it seemed like we could comfortably use it even in the rain. (Although the weather was good this time)I ordered the ¥13,000-/person platter course, but the portions were enough to satisfy two big eaters, so I thought I might try the regular dish next time. There is a stable catch of fixed nets right in front of Sekumi Fishing Port, so the sashimi and other seafood dishes are all delicious, and it's OK to bring in alcohol (at the time of use), so I bought some local sake in Obama. I did. There is no charge for bringing in alcohol, so I think it would be a good idea to enjoy local sake or craft beer from the area with your delicious food. However, it is a courtesy of the inn, so please use it in moderation.Although we arrived in the evening, the sunset from Sekumi Fishing Port was so beautiful that it became a memorable memory of our trip.In addition, there is a local cat in the guest house area, and is it exclusive to Aokiya? 😺Mimi-chan came to wake me up on the balcony of my room in the morning. Rather than being cute, this cat has eyes that look like a cafe latte.Would you also recommend it to cat lovers?

A family of three whose hobby is fishing trips.I mainly travel to Wakayama, Fukui, Kyoto, etc., and this inn has the highest level of satisfaction. The evaluation criteria are① Quality and quantity of food② Cost performance for ①③ Room facilities and comfort④ServiceSo, ① and ② are outstandingly good.★July 16, 2023★●FunamoriMahata, red sea bream, sweet shrimp, turban shell, Spanish mackerel, horse mackerel, squid●One itemSeared Spanish mackerel, Japanese mackerel with vinegar miso, grilled fish, cream croquette with cherry shrimp, boiled red sea bream, steamed dishes, one-person hotpot, grilled oysters and turban shells, rice, soup, homemade takuan, fruitFunamori course 12,000 yenChild stay without meals 3300 yenMy child is in elementary school, so we shared the meal, but he was still full.Best of all, the sashimi is very fresh, and the seasoning of each dish is also very good.Sakura shrimp cream croquette has a taste that I want to imitate but cannot! It was a filling dinner!Since it was a private room, I didn't have to worry about other tourists.Furthermore, no matter which inn I go to, I always eat without leaving any leftovers. Even though there were 3 cups of rice, there was nothing left. The facilities in the room have a Showa-era feel, and there are no refrigerators in each room or shared refrigerators. If you ask the landlady, she will keep it for you, but considering the convenience in the summer, that's what I want. There's Wi-Fi, so you won't have to worry about getting a signal. The bath (for men) is also spacious and the amenities for men are not particularly inconvenient, and it is a good idea to bring your own cosmetics.Although I didn't receive any particular service, I was impressed by the cheerful personality of the proprietress.Well, there wasn't much of a catch at Sekumi Fishing Port at that time, but I did catch a 20cm long snook and ginpo (lol). When I got home, I boiled it and ate it, and it was still delicious.I think I will stay at this inn again (*´ω`*)★July 15, 2024★Revisited for the first time in exactly a year. This time I brought my parents.Funamori 12,500 yenWithout boat 10,500 yenStay overnight (children)●FunemoriMahata, horse mackerel, rockfish, amberjack, sweet shrimpA parade of high-quality fish that you won't find anywhere else!Because my parents are elderly, we didn't order the funamori, but they were very satisfied with the sashimi that came with it.Breakfast is luxurious with kamameshi. As was the case last time, hot food is served hot.At other inns, the food may be pre-made and cold, but I'm thankful that this inn serves it in a delicious state. There was also a shared refrigerator and freezer! This was very helpful!!I can take a bath in the morning and relax. There is no greater luxury than eating delicious food and relaxing.

The prices here are low, each dish is very delicious, and the ingredients are carefully selected. The rooms are spacious, and you can be picked up and dropped off from the nearest station. In terms of facilities, although the building is old, it has been fairly renovated. It is now beautiful.

This time, we're going to indulge in a luxurious crab full course (sashimi, boiled, grilled, and hotpot)! The meat of the crab sashimi was soft and juicy, and the boiled meat was sweet and delicious. As always, the volume is amazing and impressive (sweat)We hope to see you again next year!!

I stayed here as a solo traveler. There were a lot of different kinds of seafood, and we were at our limit with only one bottle of beer and the first local cold sake, and 95% of the food. All of them were delicious. I'm a good eater in my 50s, but I couldn't finish it all. The cooked rice for breakfast was also delicious. They accepted me as a single guest, and even though I was the only guest on a weekday, they even heated a morning bath in a bathtub that could fit about 6 people. For only 11,000 yen including tax, it was a very satisfying stay. Although it doesn't have the facilities of a hotel or inn, I think it's the perfect inn to eat your fill of delicious food, get drunk, and sleep soundly. I think it would be better to skip lunch (lol).
