Use the hot springs for a day trip after camping at the Kikuchi Kogen Family Campground. The front of the building is a fine Japanese building with many large beams wrapped around the ceiling. The usage fee is 500 yen, which is a reasonable price. The temperature of the hot spring is lukewarm, so you can take a long bath, and the quality of the hot spring water is good. Unfortunately, the open-air bath cannot be used because the amount of hot water has decreased. The design is such that you go down the stairs from the changing room to the hot spring, so I think you can choose who uses it.I would like to use the hot spring for a day trip again, but as I read other reviews, I am not sure about staying overnight.

I was able to relax from check-in at 3pm until 11am the next day.All rooms are separated and all have open-air baths. The water is warm and you can soak in it slowly. From the bath, you can see the highly transparent Kikuchi River, where you can see fish swimming around, and spend a dazed time watching wild birds swimming on the surface of the river. Both dinner and breakfast can be eaten in a private room. There is also a coffee room, which is free and has a cozy atmosphere. It was a comfortable inn with good hospitality.

Prices match the price except for dinner. I was disappointed that the quality of the dinner was so low. If the room rate is the same, you should choose somewhere else.

Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather, the mountain stream turned into a muddy stream, but the quality of the hot springs was excellent and I had a really pleasant time.Definitely a repeat

My husband and I have stayed here 4 times so far. I recently stayed there during the firefly season. You can see fireflies from the open-air bath and it's so beautiful. According to your reviews, there are some employees who are not responsive. There are people in mind, but I feel like they're a bit curt, but since it's just a moment at the reception, I don't care about my home. If you want the best customer service, I think you should stay at a more expensive hotel. The rice is also delicious. I would like to stay again next year.

It was a very nice stay✨We were told that we could see fireflies in the river nearby, but unfortunately it was a rainy day and the river was rising, so we only saw a few of them flying around. The sound of the river water was a little noisy due to the rain, but the view from the bathroom in the room was great🏕The tea in the room was delicious 🍵I didn't take many pictures of the dinner so I haven't uploaded many of them, but it was delicious 🍻It was a wonderful inn that I would like to visit in winter 🔥
