When I contacted the town hall, I was told that it would reopen at some point, but whether it would be repaired or demolished has not yet been determined, and the timing has not yet been determined.

I've been using the beach every year since my kids were little, mainly for swimming, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, I was temporarily unable to use it, so it's been 3 years since I last used it. When I tried to make a reservation around that time, it closed before I knew it.I don't think it's possible for all guests, but if I had been given some kind of information when the closure was decided, I would have loved to stay with my family one last time, but I'm very disappointed.There seems to be talk of redevelopment, but for better or worse, changing from loose administrative management to private management will likely raise prices, and above all, I'm worried that the great qualities of Shirozanso will be lost.I'm looking forward to it.

There are various reviews...It was much better than I expected, and the room and bathroom were very relaxing.I stayed in a smoking Western-style room (with bath and toilet), but there was almost no odor in the room.The front desk staff was also really kind.It's a shame that it will be closing at the end of September.The parking lot was also past the swimming season, so I was told that I could park as long as I wanted, so I was able to fish at my leisure.

This is a nostalgic national dormitory that has the scent of the Showa era.Be particular about how you spend your time at the inn! It may not be suitable for those who sayThe rooms are well-cleaned, but there are bugs and trash in the communal bathrooms lol.The main thing is swimming at the beach, but I'm satisfied if I can park my car, take a shower, take a bath, and stay the night! Recommended for those who sayThe location is greatThe sea is beautiful, and you can feel like camping if you put a tarp on the lawn.Please note that BBQ and tent setup are not allowed.There are people on patrol, so I can't sneak around.Unfortunately, it has been decided to close (September 2023) and meal service has already ended.Instead, you are allowed to bring in food and drinks, and there is also a microwave.There are no shops nearby, so you can either go out by car or buy some before you arrive, but please note that the refrigerator in the room is quite small.There are two bicycles for rent, but be sure to check the air in the tires beforehand! lolThere are also facilities nearby where you can eat delicious seafood, so I think it's a good idea to eat there!The bath is an indoor bath, there is only one bathtub, and although it is not a hot spring, the view is amazing.The shampoo provided is also quite good.It's very spacious, so depending on the room, you may have to walk quite a bit to get to the bathroom.There are two free washing machines in the laundry, which is convenient.There is also a vending machine for drinks.Bath towels, small towels, and toothbrushes are provided in the room as amenities.You can get your own yukata from the front shelf, and you can also exchange sizes.The best thing about it is that you can take a free hot shower first after coming back from swimming in the sea.It's a relaxing inn full of nostalgia.The staff didn't seem to know if it was going to be rebuilt or if it would just disappear.Hopefully, a simple and value-for-money inn that is dog-friendly will be built on the site! !

Used in June 2013It's been a while since I've used it.Meals are no longer provided and the value has been halved. (It's a shame because the breakfast was cheap and delicious.)This will probably be the last time I use it, as the equipment will not be updated and the prices will not be lower.

In the past, it was a national lodging house and was the most fashionable and popular place in the area. It's right near the beach, and the view from the hot springs is also good. Those who have known Shirozanso for a long time or are used to traditional inns will still be satisfied, and it has a travel atmosphere that business hotels do not have. The employees are also kind. I feel the utmost sincerity. The building is aging and the interior and facilities are old, so it may not be suitable for modern people. In the past, it was commonplace to have a sink in some rooms, but no toilet or bath. (Of course, there is a public bath!) Supermarkets, convenience stores, and new pubs are all located near the station, so it may be difficult to stay just 15 minutes from the station. However, there are two bicycles available for free rental, so if you use them, it will take you 5 minutes to get to the station. Those looking for modern facilities may prefer a business hotel. I have loved Shirozanso for a long time, and this time I was able to enjoy it with a nostalgic feeling. I know it's difficult to run a business, so I wanted everyone to use it and stay here forever.I recently learned that Shirozanso will be closing in September 2023, as I feared. I can't help but regret it. I've been using it since I was in high school, and it was such a popular place that it was sometimes decided by a lottery whether you could stay overnight or not. The inside of the building still has the same atmosphere as before, and it was a favorite place. I feel very sad because it feels like I'm losing one memory of my youth. Thank you very much to everyone involved.

I was born in the Showa era, so I love this feeling and the location is great. It was an annual event to stay overnight and swim in the sea. The reason I wrote that is because it will be closed at the end of September of this year. I'm so sorry, but I hope you can reopen it somehow! !

The view in front of Wakasa Bay is the best. I was surprised to see people surfing even though it was winter. Although there is no open-air bath, the view from the bath was nice. The hot water was just right. The blowfish and crab dishes were extremely delicious. I'm happy to be able to eat both.

This is a ryokan where you can feel nostalgic. It was a quiet inn next to the sea. I used this for fishing purposes. The sea view from the bath is very beautiful♪The staff are also very polite and helpful.

The equipment was a little old and the door was rattling. Myokyo-do Cave is nearby, and if you take a walk around it, you can see the strange scenery created by the rough waves of the Sea of Japan.

It's a very nice hotel with the sea and beach right in front of you.Good for families with children and perfect for those who like fishing.The receptionist is kind and the hotel is comfortable.I couldn't help but suddenly stay for several nights.
