I learned about this inn from the town's website and made a reservation because I wanted to explore the filming locations of the movie "Yaksha" starring Ken Takakura and stay at an inn with a panoramic view of Lake Hyuga.I was a little confused at times as I had to make reservations online and check in using my smartphone using the latest system for an inn, but the landlady helped me and everything went smoothly. The rooms face Lake Hyuga and are clean and equipped with a refrigerator, hair dryer, and towels for a comfortable stay. The bath, which is filled with hot spring water as mentioned in the description, is clean and spacious enough for two people to take a bath, so it is relaxing ♨️The dinner made with fresh seafood was of course delicious, and most importantly, the local Mihama Hayaseura was served, which was a separate order, and my friend and I, who love Japanese sake, thoroughly enjoyed it.After the meal, the host and proprietress took time out of their busy schedules to explain to us the filming locations of ``Yaksha'' in detail while opening a map, and slowly and carefully told us about their memories from the time of filming about 40 years ago. Thank you ❗️My long-cherished wish came true and I was finally able to come to the filming location, and the inn I was able to stay at became a very fond memory thanks to the careful attention to detail and the kind host and landlady.I think it was a good decision to stay at Hattori.Thank you 😊

I visit "Gyoba no Yado Hattori", a guesthouse on the shore of Lake Hyuga, once a year, and I'm always satisfied with the environment, food, and hospitality 😃✌️

As expected, this is a fisherman's inn. Everything was delicious. On top of that, the food was delicious, so I thoroughly enjoyed it.If I were a little younger, I would probably eat three cups.

It had been renovated and was very beautiful. The room was also very clean and very clean. The toilet and washroom are shared.I stayed in a Japanese-style room with a lake view. There was no information about the refrigerator, so I thought it wasn't there, but it was. They used to draw water from the well and keep it cold in the refrigerator. I had it after taking a bath, and it was very delicious. As soon as you enter the entrance, there is a vending machine that sells not only juice but also beer and non-alcoholic beer. There is a hair dryer in the room so you can dry your hair slowly. The rice was very delicious. It was fresh and chewy, so I ended up having to refill it. I ended up eating too much of the kelp with roe that I had for breakfast because it was included with my rice.

The landlady was very scary. I was in a hurry to check out because I wanted to clean quickly, and since I had about an hour until checkout, I asked if I could just leave my luggage there, but please do not listen to my words or thoughts. It was.He is the type of person who becomes hysterical and yells when guests do not follow his ideas. This is my first experience of being scolded in an unreasonably loud voice at my accommodation. It is very disappointing. Although I was with my child, it was a very sad journey. I was also charged a fee for the accommodation that I was not told about, so I feel that this may be harassment. The landlady is very strong-willed, and I took care of her, but I think she should change her attitude toward guests. You yelled and scolded the guests for your own reasons, but the guests also have their own reasons. Also, I can't understand it because I was paying for the room and was following the accommodation terms and conditions. It also seemed like other customers could hear me, and they were giving me disgusted looks. There was one other female staff member who served us, but she was very polite.

I see a style where food and service are the cost. Far from hospitality.

The food wasn't as good as I expected.I may have eaten too much delicious food, but it didn't feel like a fisherman's inn.Didn't you feel the cost performance?I have eaten puffer fish and crab in many places, so I was very disappointed in the price.
