I ended up hanging out in Fukui on an unexpected weekend⤵︎All the accommodations were expensive, so I decided to stay here for a relatively cheap price. Is this an accommodation for people who stay for a long time for work? The public bath was supposed to be used by men, so they told me I couldn't use it, so they upgraded my room for the same price. No problems with equipment etc. It's an old inn that's been renovated in places.Well, it feels quite old.Well, I'm just sleeping so it's no problem.

Since Fukui Stadium was full, I had to leave my car at the hotel and take a taxi, train, or bus, so I was able to get to the stadium on time thanks to the kind and detailed information I received about taxi allocation and trains. The next morning, I was informed that I would be leaving early, so I was able to go out comfortably. There's plenty of parking, so it's safe.

My husband and I took care of him on the way home from a live show. It's a long-established inn. The building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and the tatami rooms were clean. (The air conditioner was also new)The biggest surprise was how well everything was cleaned. There is also a large public bath, but there is only one, so either men or women can use it. It was empty when we went, so the two of us locked the bath together like we were renting a private bath.Although the plan included breakfast, I was able to taste plenty of Fukui's home-cooked food, which was delicious and made me feel relieved in the morning. The slippers are old-fashioned and shallow, so it's dangerous if you walk with socks on because they can slip off on stairs. There's no elevator (I think), so it's hard to have to carry your luggage up the stairs.I would like to use it again when I go there again.

Anyway, the breakfast is delicious! It was definitely the most delicious breakfast I've ever had at a ryokan. The service in general was a little slow due to the lack of staff, and the rules for the public bath were unclear, but the breakfast solved everything.

The staff were kind and helpful. It's located in a quiet town, so you can relax. It's about 300 meters from the main street, so you can walk to restaurants.I think it's reasonable if you're just staying the night. No matter how you look at it, there's only one bathhouse, so I wonder if it's the same for both men and women. It may be that there is a time system for men and women, but is that unclear? It is rare to have a sauna, but the temperature inside the room was around 30℃. It's no different from the outside temperature.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations when I booked the accommodation, just because it was close to work and cheap. When I arrived, I was surprised to find that the building was even more impressive than I had expected. It's certainly showing its age, but it feels like it's been kept clean and well-maintained. The reception and reception by the landlady was also very nice, and I felt a level of hospitality that is not found in high-end ryokans. This time I booked a small Japanese-style room. There is enough space for one person to open a computer or sleep. It's interesting that the unit buses are arranged in a mysterious way. It's in a residential area, so you can't expect a view. Perhaps because we arrived late, the futon was already laid out. It's a bit inconvenient that the outlet is only near the feet. However, it is good that high-speed Wi-Fi is installed. The password is written in the booklet under the TV.On that day, it seemed like I was the only guest from the shoes at the entrance, so I also took pictures of the large communal bath. The tile joints and ceiling are also clean and appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. There was also a sauna, although I didn't use it. I brought towels from my room, but the towels weren't flimsy, fluffy, and had a nice smell of fabric softener.Because it was quiet and I was tired, I was able to sleep well from early on.Breakfast starts at 7:00, so it's a bit of a stretch if you're on business, but I decided to eat there because it had good reviews. So I was skeptical about the reviews and had half my expectations. But it was very delicious. The rice is ``Ichihomare,'' which is recommended by Ichi Fukui. However, the way you cook white rice makes a huge difference. . . Is delicious. I ate three bowls of freshly cooked rice that was shiny and fresh. The side dishes were mediocre, but each one was delicious, especially the grilled salmon lees pickled dish. The boiled eggplant is also delicious, and the rice goes well with the mentaiko and pickles. If my stomach allowed it, I would have had another bowl of rice. After the meal, they served me a drink, and I wanted to come back just for the breakfast.I don't often come to Echizen or Takefu for work, but when I'm staying nearby, I think I'll stay here even if it means taking a short trip.

Breakfast was great! Boiled flounder, hot spring eggs, small sea bream, fried tofu, and other Fukui specialties such as simmered vegetables made the morning meal as luxurious as dinner. It was really delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I booked this inn without any knowledge. It's an old type of inn, but it was comfortable. I'd like a room with a bath and toilet. Breakfast looks delicious too. I walked to a nearby Starbucks. I was able to take a walk in the morning and it was in a good location. I was very happy when they told me, ``There are plenty of parking lots, so you can park as many times as you like.'' thank you very much.
