It's a free campsite, but it's surprisingly well maintained and beautiful. There are no street lights, so come while it's still bright.I heard there were bears, but while I was there, I couldn't find any signs or traces of them. But there are deer.I was surprised when it chirped several times during the night lol

We used it as a parking lot for mountain climbing. There are toilets and running water, although drinking water is not allowed. There is also a large parking lot, which is useful as a climbing base. The road leading to the parking lot is well maintained, making for a comfortable drive. There is also a loop course as a climbing route, so I would like to continue using it in the future.

I arrived on the evening of August 22, 2024 and used it until the evening of the 23rd!I didn't take the Obon holiday, so I took a late Obon holiday and came here by bike on a weekday, but of course I was completely solo! There are many people posting on YouTube, but I think the atmosphere, scenery, and facilities are quite nice for free! There is a lower tier and an upper tier, and the lower one is cooler, but there is a tree right in front of where you can park your bike and get some shade, and we set up our campsite in the place in the photo where you can see the view. However, it was scary at night because there was no electricity and there were signs warning people to be careful of bears, so I was completely solo.I took countermeasures by leaving the lights and radio on at all times, burning incense to ward off beasts, and cleaning up trash.I heard a rustling sound, a sign of something, and a bang! I heard a sound like deer and deer were fighting by bumping their antlers together? I woke up three times during the night thinking about it.The scenery when I came out of the tent in the morning was so amazing that I forgot about the fear of the night! !Then, I started to want to poop and I didn't want to go to the bathroom, but I had no choice but to go, and that's when my second fear started...A large amount of canabun on the toilet floor? There were carcasses of people walking around, and it was so messy that there was no place to step on it, so I brought tissues just in case, but I didn't have to worry because I had plenty of spare toilet paper. There were huge spiders and flies flying around on the walls, and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the private room, so I brought forest incense because I didn't want to get bitten in the butt.I mustered up all my courage and finished the pussy in an instant. lolBased on this information, if you want to avoid night terrors and fear of using the toilet, it might be a good idea to take a good nap and come early in the morning for a day camp.I chose to stay overnight because I wanted to experience a lot of things while camping, but it's nice to be able to come and go home for free and at any time if you're looking for a cool place.I suddenly wanted to come again.Rakuten Mobile had three 4G radio waves, so there was no problem. You don't need a tarp on the lower level, but you need a tarp on the upper level because it's sunny except for where you pitched your tent.Insects include ants, grasshoppers, gnats, horseflies, ticks, mosquitoes, and spiders. If I lit two forest incense sticks, I wouldn't have to worry about being bitten. There was a huge wasp nest next to the kitchen, so you should be careful of bees as well.I hope this information will be helpful to those who wish to use it.

There are times when the venue is reserved for private events, so it's best to contact the local government office to confirm before you go!

There is a parking lot at the bottom and a tent site at the top, but there were some people who were unblocking their cars to get in.To make matters worse, the tent was set up in the back even though the tent site was empty. It's a cheap tent that looks like it's poor considering I'm riding a jeep, and it's disproportionate to the fact that I can use the free campsite, so I guess it's just for show that riding a jeep costs money to maintain it.If you're going for a family vacation, but if you're traveling alone and don't have anyone with you, I think you should get a Jimny instead of having to force yourself to ride in a 4-door Jeep. The free campsite could be closed due to this kind of bad manners, so I've attached an image to alert you.

Even though I went during Golden Week, it was a quiet campsite with almost no popularity.During the day, I struggled with large swarms of fly-like insects and round winged insects, but they stopped appearing at night.Water in the toilets and kitchen can be used except in winter. There are two botton toilets.I slept on the upper site, but the deer were screaming right there and it was so noisy...I think it's a good environment considering it's a free campsite.

I arrived there by going up a very sharp curve. It's a campsite where you can hear the voices of the mountain birds ♪ However, there is little (or no?) lighting at night, and there's a sign that says "Beware of bears," so it looks a little scary at night!
