This inn is clean and comfortable, and the personality of the owner and his wife is reflected in every detail. While the prices of various things are skyrocketing, I am grateful that the accommodation fees are very reasonable, which allows me to extend the number of days I stay.Although it is not in front of Fukui Station, Mt. Asuwa, a symbol of Fukui City, and Powerspo Kuroryu Shrine are nearby, and famous sauce katsudon shops and long-established Habutae mochi shops are also within walking distance, and there is a bus stop that takes 2 to 3 minutes on foot. If you use Fukui Railway Asuwayama Koenguchi Station, which is a 7-8 minute walk, you can connect to JR, Echizen Railway, and Hapi Line, making it convenient for sightseeing. There is a self-service laundry facility, which is great if you are staying for several nights, and you can also buy snacks and drinks inside the hotel (I bought PB tea, and it was cheaper than buying it from a vending machine). For breakfast and dinner, we had dishes that were typical of Fukui, such as fish, sesame tofu, and miso dengaku, and above all, the freshly cooked rice from Fukui, a rice producer, was delicious. Thanks to your support, I was able to go on a half-day sightseeing trip to Takefu, take a leisurely look at the beautiful hydrangeas on Mt. Asuwa, take a day trip to Mikuni Port Onsen and Takanosu Onsen by train or bus, and eat delicious soba noodles and Abe River Mochi. It was a fulfilling trip as we ate while walking around.I will definitely stay here again when I go to Fukui, and I would like to strongly recommend this inn to my friends and acquaintances.

An inn where the hospitality of the couple really touches your heart. The futon is soft and comfortable.Breakfast is also good Japanese food.Even though it is probably a few years old, it is a very clean inn.thank you.I would like to stay again. It's a 15-20 minute walk from the station, but it's a good place as Asuwayama Park and Kuroryu Shrine are nearby!

Stayed with the bike touring plan. The room and bathroom were clean and I felt comfortable. The host was very friendly and we had a great time talking about bikes, the history of Fukui's town and facilities, etc. Before checking out, they provided us with hoses and car wash brushes so we could clean our bikes, which were dirty from the previous day's rain. If I have a chance, I would like to visit you again.
