I can definitely recommend this accommodation on Naoshima Island. We were accommodated in a bungalow that was absolutely clean, newly furnished, with its own bathroom and toilet. The price of the room included water, tea, Coca-Cola, coffee and some types of infused soups. We had booked accommodation with breakfast, but it was served in a cafe, about 400 meters from the accommodation. The price for breakfast was 1000 JPY which was equivalent to one coffee and one toast. I would imagine the breakfast a little richer.Otherwise, the location of the accommodation is about 10 minutes walking distance from the port.

I had always wanted to go to Naoshima Island but didn’t know what to expect – would I be living off of granola bars and riding a bike for miles to museums? …

You can view 100 photos of the exterior and interior here on Agoda, so I decided to stay there (lol). As I expected, I had a stylish and very comfortable 2 nights and 3 days there. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from Miyaura Port. It's convenient because you can go there by car, and you can also use the laundry and electric bicycles (both for a fee). There is a lounge (microwave, refrigerator, electronic kettle, sofa, snack sales, free tea, Chinese soup, component pota, etc.) and plenty of amenities, so anyone can definitely have a stress-free stay ♪ I will definitely use it again. I'll take it.

It's a great, cozy place - they rent bikes, which is super convenient. Our room was very comfortable, though a little small for the price. The staff is extremely nice. Great location, 7 minutes walk from the harbor. I highly recommend it.

The owner was very kind and it was a very special experience. The same group rented three rooms on the second floor of the house and were able to talk in the common space until late at night.Tableware is available in the common space on the first floor. The nearby 7-Eleven is open from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Drinks from the fridge are free.I also appreciate that you can drink coffee, miso soup, and soup for free.My friend bought rice to heat up in the microwave for a fee and had it for breakfast with miso soup. The accommodation fee was not extremely cheap, but the amenities and pajamas were provided, so considering that I could basically stay comfortably and empty-handed, I was quite satisfied.Check out is at 10 o'clock, but the two of us who stayed with us extended the stay until 12 o'clock to relax and cool off.

Cute Place, close to ferry terminal, offers bike rental (but unfortunately expensive, 1500Y per day, would rather rent directly at the port for 1200Y or less)Overall felt pretty expensive for what it was (paid around 23000Y per night), inconvenient early checkout at 10:00 and the finishing ridiculous touch was that they charged us 500 Yen to store our small backpack for 45 minutes 🙄

I had a hard time finding accommodation on Naoshima, either traditional guesthouses with toilets outside or Benesse hotels that cost over 100,000 yen per night, but this place is close to the port, you can rent assist bicycles, and the staff is very helpful. It was a good and very comfortable hotel. The only disappointing thing is that it didn't have a washlet. If it was a washlet, it would have been 150 points out of 100.Other than that, it was a very good hotel.
