I stayed with my cat during the September holidays. There are two dogs outside and the inn has a nice old feel. There were quite a few insects, but I thought that couldn't be helped since the place was deep in the mountains. It was surrounded by nature and there was a river behind it.When I stayed there, it was reserved, and it was a corner room called Katsura on the second floor, and the layout of the room was stylish. The men's bath is reserved for private use, has glass walls on two sides, and the water is quite hot, but it's been a long time since I've had a relaxing bath with the whole family.Dinner and breakfast were simply gorgeous, and there was so much variety and quantity that I couldn't finish it all. The way the white rice was cooked was so exquisite that it was so delicious that I ate it even when I was full.I guess it's run by an uncle and an aunt. They both have very warm personalities, and the scenery and atmosphere are nice and quiet, so I wanted to stay there again.

The food and hot springs were great! ! Great cost too! However, you can't sit on the toilet 😓 I think it would be better to at least have a refrigerator, even though it's small! It was nice to have a toilet where you could sit even though it was small!

There were about 30 stink bugs in the room. No matter how many times you get rid of them, they keep popping up out of nowhere. I don't recommend going during this time. The food was delicious. However, I had repeatedly confirmed that it would be 15,000 yen for 2 nights and 3 days per person, but on the day I was charged double the amount. I will never go there again.

Stayed around spring 2019Overall, it is acceptable that the building is old, but the inside of the building has not been cleaned at all and is dirty. The hallway leading to the room was littered with unused furniture, and there was a visible amount of dust.I went there expecting the room to be clean, but it was also disappointing.First of all, everything was covered in dust. The teapot and pot are also covered in dust. I felt sick and thought about opening the window to ventilate the room, but the curtains were really dirty. It was at a level where I didn't want to touch it.The built-in refrigerator is full of mold.It was so bad that I thought I had been sent to a room that was not in use by mistake. Also, there are a lot of insects inside the building. There are a lot of stink bugs, and many of them have gotten into my room. And since I hadn't cleaned it, there were dead bodies all over the room.Todome also found stink bugs in the boiled food.I informed them that there were stink bugs in the food, but they only said sorry on the spot and did not apologize until I left.Honestly, I feel nothing but anger. This was the first and last time I experienced being so dirty that I didn't even want to touch the things in the hostel. Even the inns in developing countries were much more beautiful. An inn is a place where you can make precious memories of your trip. Please do your best to be more professional.During our stay, my wife couldn't stop sneezing, and I myself suffered from itching all over my body.

I stayed at GOTO for two nights.Anyway, the food was perfect in both taste and quantity, and I was very satisfied. On the first day, the main course is beef grilled on a ceramic platter, and on the second day, you can also choose lamb chops. The temperature of the bath may be a little low, but once you've soaked well and returned to your room, your body will be warm and your skin will be smooth. The downside is the cleanliness.Perhaps because it is run by a small number of people, the rooms are not cleaned well, which is a bit disappointing. Also, there is no washlet in the private room, and the toilet seat is cold, so it takes courage to sit down. There is a toilet with a washlet on the first floor, so I think it would be better to use that.It also has good access to sightseeing in the surrounding area, with Aizuwakamatsu being about an hour's drive and Ouchi-juku being about 20 minutes away. The advantage of being able to visit Ouchi-juku, which is always crowded, early in the morning (by the time I returned, there was a huge line at the parking lot even though it was still early in the morning).
