The affiliated parking lot is far away, but if you park at the Kurashiki Municipal Station parking lot, you can check in easily even in bad weather.Since I am using the hotel for business, I can park for less than 1,000 yen since I check in after 6pm.If you leave within 12 hours, the price will not be much different from the affiliated parking lot.

Indoor wiring is narrow.It's because of the way the elevator is made.It was very troublesome and we had to change elevators...The bed sinks a lot, so it's very difficult for people with back pain.To be honest, I didn't leave a good impression overall.

I was worried about the bad Reviews of this Hotel, but we still hired it and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was old but still very clean. It is located in front of the Kuashiki station, the rooms are very comfortable. The rooms were silent. The staff is very friendly.

Rooms and service are goodThere is only one microwave and there are only three coin laundry machines, so if you stay for multiple nights, the laundry room is often empty and you can't do laundry.The number of microwaves and laundry facilities are too small for the number of rooms.Also, the walls are thin and you can hear voices and sounds from the next room.

I went on a business trip to Kurashiki Station and had great access to the downtown area at night. The room had a common APA hotel room atmosphere, but the sound leaked through from the room next door. It would be best to keep the TV volume low.

The location is good, adjacent to Kurashiki Station.The building's 9th to 12th floors are occupied by a hotel.The 9th floor is the front desk, and the elevator from downstairs always stops at the 9th floor, so you can transfer to another elevator from the 9th floor. It's a bit difficult to transfer, but the security is good.It's been a while since I last used it, but the interior had been completely renovated and was a clean and relaxing space.There are many restaurants around the hotel, and convenience stores are within walking distance.It can't be helped because of the location, but you will have to walk a little to get to the parking lot.The station is just around the corner, the Bikan Historical Quarter is within walking distance, there is an outlet (shopping mall) just outside the station, and it's convenient for sightseeing and shopping, so I think the location is really good.

I went to Kurashiki for the first time on a business trip and stayed there. I chose it based on low price, so I didn't have to worry about the thin walls as other reviewers have written. However, there may be differences in the structure depending on the room.Automatic check-in doesn't seem to be very labor-saving because you have to have an attendant explain things to you and then enter the information yourself. However, I didn't feel uncomfortable at all.The room is clean and tidy, which makes me feel relieved. I also appreciate that there are vending machines on each floor. I was surprised at how clean the water area was (I shouldn't be surprised, excuse me!).However, this is not APA Hotel's fault at all, but the building, which was built in the third sector or something, is a typical rural, deserted building, and there is a huge disparity between the building and the building above the 9th floor where APA Hotel is located. I thought that this might lower the excitement for people visiting for sightseeing.Also, the air conditioner in my room was a very old type that only had air volume adjustment, so it was a bit difficult to control the temperature.Your impressions may vary depending on the type of room, but I had a comfortable stay.

Because the walls are thin, you can hear the noise from the next room very well. It's not like the room next door is making louder noises, but you can hear the toilet and even your breathing. This was the worst business hotel I have ever stayed at. On the other hand, the reception from the front desk and the cleanliness of the room were very good.

The hotel is located in a relatively dilapidated building with a Showa feel and is directly connected to the station, but the inside is clean. Since it was off-season, I was lucky to be able to get a twin room by myself. There is also a microwave and ice maker.

Great and convenient location. That's where it ends.Loud. And no, not from street noise, from paper thin walls you can hear your neighbours talking.Constant banging and thudding. Hearing your upstairs neighbours, hearing your adjacent neighbours and just plain hearing everything because it's just not sound proofed like every single other hotel I've stayed at in Japan. It's a Monday night, not a weekend. Quite tiring with no recourse. It's late and it's constant pounding. Front desk doesn't seem to want to help.Stayed at other APA hotels and all were fine, exceptional in-fact. This is by far the loudest of them all. Not sure why there is constant pounding after 11pm and we're not near any elevator/door/amenities/machines. Sadly the worst hotel I've stayed at in Japan over these last three weeks. I would not recommend it if you're a light sleeper.
