It was new and felt clean. It's a prefabricated two-story building, so there is some sound leaking from the next room, but I don't think that would be a problem if no noisy people were staying there. There is a hot spring on the same premises, which guests can use for free. The bath in the room also has a washing area and is separated from the toilet, so since it is not a unit bath, I think it will be more relaxing to take a bath than in a normal business hotel. The last order is 20:30, but I'm grateful that there is a izakaya on the premises where you can eat delicious food at a reasonable price. There is a coin laundry, but there are no vending machines inside the building (there are ones outside, but you have to walk), so I think it would be a good idea to buy drinks in advance. There is a Family Mart in the Futaba Industrial Center, which is within walking distance, but it is unclear what hours it is open.

It was my first time staying there. It felt like everyone around me was working hard to rebuild after the earthquake. The room was clean and I was satisfied.I think it would be a 4 or 5 review just for the room, meals, and public bath. The food was pretty good, but the disappointing thing was the restaurant. It was a system where snacks and alcohol were purchased from a ticket vending machine, but there were very few for the price, especially the Genghis Khan, which was grilled using solid fuel, but it was 70% bean sprouts and onions, and the Genghis Khan only had 5 small pieces... Is this 1200 yen? ? ?The picture shows a lot of Genghis Khan, but the one that came out was completely different.4 small gyoza like petit gyoza cost 500 yen...What's more, the inside was half-baked and not hot.I'm not being stingy, but I personally think it's better to consider the balance between price, quantity, and quality.

On the evening of 24th August 2024, our group arrived at Arm Futaba Hotel in Fukushima. The hotel provided a cozy atmosphere for us after a long journey. Once settled in, we had a delicious dinner that helped us unwind and feel refreshed. After dinner, we took the opportunity to relax by enjoying a soothing bath, which prepared us for the next day's activities. In the morning, before continuing our journey, we visited a nearby beach to witness the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. The sight was breathtaking and left a lasting impression on us all.Shortly after, we returned to the hotel, packed up, and proceeded on our journey to Minamisoma. The experience at the hotel, combined with the visit to the beach, made for a memorable and refreshing stop during our trip.

Updated August 2024The food was soggy. I was shocked. Neapolitan is not a side dish. Sea food has also disappeared. Refilling side dishes is also prohibited. This is a shame, since the selling point of this hotel was that the food was good. Even if it becomes impossible to compromise on seafood because of its high unit price, I hope they will stop serving Neapolitan as a side dish. I think the cook, or rather the person in charge of cooking, has probably changed. The sale of alcohol and tobacco from vending machines has been suspended.Reservations can now be made on Agoda and Booking.com (half board reservations are not available)There seems to be an increase in the number of Youtubers who are streaming videos of ruins. It felt like everything was going in the wrong direction.Too bad.Does this mean that the hotel has given up on being a tourist hotel? Does this mean that they have turned to “worker accommodation”?20231115 updatedThe receptionist has an accent, which is nice. It feels like I'm back home in the northern Kanto region. You cannot make a reservation on agoda. It seems to be available only via Jalan.Wi-Fi is perfect.Shampoo, body soap, shaver, toothbrush, etc. are provided.Recently, a convenience store finally opened in my neighborhood (but it seems to close at 8pm).About 10 minutes by rental bicycle or bus from Futaba Station. The room is small, but there is a water heater, hair dryer, and TV.Those who are used to luxury hotels may feel that the service is not good, but those who are used to cheap hotels may find it rather excessive. The meals are buffet-style and are not luxurious, but they are delicious enough. It seems that local Fukushima rice and vegetables are also used. For example, it's something like boiled pork and onions, which is a perfect side dish for rice, and I really like it. I feel like I'm gaining weight. It's also customary to include a small plate of seafood. There is also a liquor vending machine. As for the reconstruction of the surrounding areas, to be frank, it will continue to be difficult. However, I think it is an important inn as a base for walking to learn about the harsh reality.I see YouTubers everywhere I go in Tokyo these days, but I think this is the place where you should take videos and publish them.

Typical of a workers' hotel, not family friendly. It's clean and the parking lot is nice, but the buffet time is too early, so it's a little difficult for families. If they are taking the trouble to provide information on nearby nuclear power plant facilities, I think they could have given it a little more consideration. It's a shame that there are no seats for 4 people and you can't move them around. The hotel still seems to have room for improvement.

Approximately 7,000 yen for accommodation and two mealsThis is a low-cost business hotel that is mainly used for construction work, and is often found on Hamadori. The meal was a buffet, but although the number of items was small, it was satisfying. There aren't many drinks, but there are juices and the service is decent. The surrounding area is an area that was completely destroyed by the tsunami, but there are large, modern buildings here and there, and a Family Mart is conveniently located across the street. However, there seem to be quite a few customers at this Family Mart and the izakaya next door, so I wonder if it's okay?

It looked like a student dormitory. So I think it's a great hotel because the front desk staff seemed like they were students and were seated while serving us. Good luck with your recovery.

I used it with my family.Although it is a dining room, perhaps because there are many single people using it, there are no table sets where families can sit together, so we had to line up at the counter and eat.If you have a family with you, I would like to have a 4-seater set for them. The bath was reserved for private use, probably because there were few female customers.
