My sister and I stayed in Tamba Sasayama during the chestnut season. There were 3 rooms in total. The interior is wonderful, and as you would expect from a former lumber wholesaler, the chairs and tables are nice and sturdy. There are many dishes and cutlery that can be purchased at the adjacent shop. The mattress on the bed is a little thin. The pillow was the height I liked, but it seemed too high for my sister. The bathroom is the size of a normal household.I didn't do much cooking, but the sink was large and seemed easy to use.I'm not good with insects, so I might have to put up with some bugs coming out because there was a window with a little gap. Also, if you stay here, I think it would be quite difficult to eat out at night. Everything closes before 5pm.

It's a very nice hotel. The facilities are wonderful and it is reserved for private use, so it is recommended for girls' trips. If you stay in a room close to the road, you can always hear the sound of cars passing by, so if you are sensitive, you may not be able to sleep. Everything was nice, so I was disappointed with the bath and breakfast. I think it's okay to eat breakfast outside. If you don't want to put on makeup and get ready, you can buy some take-out bread and enjoy the hotel's delicious coffee.

Best hotel ever in my life. The house is woody and fully designed (by the house keeper, which is also owner of store beside it)When we arrived, the house has already be prepared for us, the owner is kindly introducing all about the house. (No English, but the owner is willing to use the translation app)You can cook here (there's a supermarket nearby), enjoying your vacation here, everything would be beautiful under each shot of camera.Tamba-sasayama is a quite and beautiful city. By walking, you would go around the whole old city in 1-2 hrs. Be careful about sunset time, there's few shops open afterthat.
