Used as accommodation on the first day of Shikoku touring. It seemed like I could make a reservation through Rakuten Travel, but I was told that I would have to pay in cash on site, so I made the reservation directly over the phone. Now that I think about it, does it cause any trouble if you cancel your reservation? I wonder? (lol)I rode my bike following Google Maps, but it was very scary because they chose a dangerous route. There is a wider road, so please take that one✨Since it is a normal private house, the room feels like being at home. The cleaning was thorough, and the high-speed WiFi was free to use, so it was comfortable.Dinner can be served outside in the hut. The seasoning of the miso was so delicious that I ate all the rice that was prepared in the ohitsu and was so full that I couldn't move for a while 🍴🐷💓 One thing I was disappointed about was for personal reasons, but I don't like futons, so I was a little disappointed. It was difficult to sleep. There seem to be some rooms with Western-style beds, so it might be a good idea to check your preferences when making a reservation.Breakfast was also carefully prepared. It was very delicious. The weather on this tour was unstable and worse than planned, and it didn't seem like it was going to improve, so I canceled my later plans and headed home, but the delicious food left me with good memories. thank you for helping me

We had a wonderful stay with Kudo and his wife. Their house is high up on a hill, so there is a lovely view and it is very quiet and peaceful. The food was sublime and included many homegrown vegetables. Every night we had a different menu (BBQ, homemade pizza, hotpot) and every morning a delicious spread. They have a covered outdoor space for meals which is very convenient. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Thoroughly recommend staying at this Iya Valley guesthouse. NB I booked directly via email from their website.

The stay there was an incredible experience. In the middle of a farm on the hillside, the sounds and sights of the Oboke area around us were spectacular. The food for dinner included so many local specialties you couldn't get almost any other place. Breakfasts were delicious and included many ingredients grown in the farm itself. The host was kind and helpful and took such great care of us.

Excellent breakfast and dinner served with local ingredients. They can cater to vegetarians. Wonderful view. Basic English okay. I recommend asking them to give you a lift or to guide you up from the station because it's hard to find.

Home grown vegetable dishes are very delicious ☺️When I stayed for several nights, I was treated to homemade pizza🍕🎵The atmosphere of the couple was great, and this is a place I definitely want to stay at when I come to Oboke. The view from the inn is also great!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Really friendly staff with great English, delicious home-cooked food, clean rooms and spectacular views. The proprietor even picked us up from the station and dropped us there the next morning. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a rental car and the owner was nice enough to meet us at the station and guide us up to the house. Our (Japanese style) room with futons was clean and spacious and the food was delicious with lots of (homegrown) vegetables and tea from their garden. Do take the dinner and breakfast option! We were the only guests so we were lucky we didn’t have to share the bathroom. The owners aren’t very talkative but the man’s English is pretty good so it’s easy to communicate. I would recommend staying here.

Amego hirarayaki was the best!If you go by car, they will pick you up at the roadside station and guide you to your accommodation. You'll be climbing up a mountain road, so if you have a low-height car, you might run into trouble. The room felt clean. Although it is a home-use bath, it is too cold to bathe in the winter, so we recommend visiting a nearby hot spring before going there.
