Please make a reservation in advance at the Kannami Town Cultural Center and pay on the day at the campsite administration building. The price is different for townspeople and out-of-towners, but it's still reasonably priced at a few hundred yen per adult.Rental tents available. It was a Captain Stag dome tent for 4 to 5 people. It's not an auto campsite, so you park your car in the parking lot along the road and walk down the stairs with your luggage. It's a forest site, so it doesn't seem to get too hot even in the summer. In the summer, you can play in the river next to the property. There are two toilets, and the one on the right as you face the first floor of the administration building may be cleaner. The wooden benches are aging, but there are a number of them, so it was convenient. You can use it not only in the kitchen but also in the U-shaped groove. We were also able to borrow a slat to put under the tent.I think the manager is probably only there when you have a reservation, but if you're staying overnight, he's also there at night, so you feel safe.Mobile phone reception is almost non-existent. In case of an emergency, please go to the administration building. The road to the campsite was narrow, so I continued forward hoping there would be no oncoming traffic (lol).

A campsite surrounded by trees. A river flows along the side, so the temperature is about 5 degrees lower than on the flat ground. However, cell phone reception is poor, making it difficult to contact in case of an emergency.

The period of use is from April 20th to October 31st, but even during this period it is not very popular on weekdays, so I think it is better to ask the town hall for an explanation of the usage status when making a reservation in advance. Masu. Since it is close to the Old Hakone Road and Gensei-no-Mori Park, and you can enjoy fresh greenery and autumn leaves, I think it would be a good idea to use it as a base for trekking. The sky is a little narrow as it is surrounded by trees, but since it is isolated from the city, I think it is suitable for stargazing. The road is narrow and has poor visibility due to the trees, so you need to be very careful when walking day or night. Motorcycle tires in particular are often damaged by pebbles and fallen leaves. As of August 2020, restoration work from the disaster caused by Typhoon No. 19 in 2019 is progressing, and it is now possible to pass from the valley to the campsite, but river restoration continues and many large vehicles are coming in and out. Therefore, please be careful when visiting our office.
