I have used it many times. The manager was very nice and everything was great until March of this year. The manager has changed from this year and it's the worst. When I went to the reception desk at check-in time, there was no one there, so when I called, I was told that they would come later and I would have to pay at that time. Please set up your tent first. The usage fee remains the same, but all garbage must be taken home and the quality of firewood has decreased. I don't come here often to clean, so the toilets and kitchen remain dirty. The usage fee is very low, so even if you can't help but deal with the garbage, please clean it up. The kitchen is in terrible condition due to campers with bad manners. The campsite itself is very rich in nature, where you can catch mountain crabs, overlook the nearby river, and it is quiet at night. For shopping, there are supermarkets, drug stores, and home centers all within a few minutes' drive. It's convenient because it's close to a hot spring.

Many people come with children, and the management understands that.Perhaps because of this, the facilities are very clean and comfortable.Surprisingly, I feel that a place with such a sense of security is precious. Also, the nearby hot springs are also slippery.

In late January, I went camping with local friends at Nakagawa River in the middle of winter. After registering at the administration building, which is a little further away, we walk around the area and move to the site along the river. It's a free site, so you can't drive in, but there's a parking lot right next to the site, so it's very convenient.Restrooms and water facilities are right next door, and although they are a bit old, they are well-equipped.There are several soft drink vending machines in the administration building, and it's within walking distance, so you won't have to worry about getting a drink. There is a drugstore, Homsen, and convenience store 1-2 km away, and further south there is a large supermarket called Lion d'Or, so it's quite convenient. The site is completely flat with grass, and each section is separated by numbers, but on this day there were no other users, so there was plenty of time. It's along a river, so the wind is quite strong, and by midnight it gets quite cold, which is typical for this season, so it's best to take thorough measures against the cold when camping in the winter.Overall, the scenery overlooking the entire river is also attractive. The management is friendly and polite, so it is recommended as a hidden camping spot.
