Stayed here on the way back from Tohoku. I made a reservation over the phone on the same day, but they kindly agreed to stay without meals.Anyway, hot springs are the best. When you soak in the cloudy, high-temperature sulfur spring, your whole body will feel warm and you'll feel like you've stepped into a hot spring! Guests can take a bath 24 hours a day, so we were able to enjoy a morning bath before checking out.The master couple are friendly and kind. On the same day, when I told them that the lighting fixtures were not working properly, they changed me to a larger room free of charge, and I am truly grateful for their thoughtfulness.Facilities are minimal, but there is a dining room in a separate room with a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle, so you can bring in your own food. The atmosphere is great, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time even if you are touring or solo.Next time I will definitely bring my family and stay overnight with meals included.

[The freshness is one of the best in Nasu Yumoto. The water is hot, so be careful if you bring children. ]The hot water is clear, rather than cloudy, and looks slightly blue to light green.Even compared to the neighboring Oshika-no-Yu, I feel that the water here seems to be fresher. The problem is the heat of the water. In winter, the water temperature drops slightly. It's too hot for small children to enter. (Nasu Yumoto is generally hot)

The hostess is also very warm. Even though it's Obon in this day and age, 7,000 yen for one night with two meals is an absolute steal. If you think that the room is old, it is acceptable.I was so happy to have wild sweetfish for dinner.

There are two Asakaso properties, but I will be writing about the one on the side of the road that is a little further away from Shika-no-Yu, and the one with a hot spring inside the inn.basic information◆There is a small refrigerator in the room◆With electric fan◆Shared toilet (unisex)◆No free amenities◆No bath towel◆Yukata (no loungewear)◆No air conditioner in the bathroom◆Tea and electric pot available◆TV available◆Shampoo and soap provided◆There is a restaurant◆No vending machine, you can purchase at the front desk◆Shared water supply availablethoughts◆Low accommodation fees◆The smell of Asian incense fills the guesthouse (the smell is strong enough to eliminate the sulfur smell and lasts all day)◆They tried their best to make rice, but it didn't suit me.◆Couple-owned business, wife is a foreigner◆My wife is not good at Japanese, but she tries her best to speak to me.◆The screen door is torn so insects can easily get in. Equipped with insect swatter◆The floor of the room is quite slanted.◆Hot springs are hot so you can adjust the temperature with water.◆After taking a hot spring bath, the skin on my hands peeled off like a sunburn, so it might be effective for skin diseases.

We are staying at the end of June. It's pretty good for relaxing in the hot springs. In midsummer and midwinter, adjusting the temperature in the room seems to be very important. If you are taking the trash home with you by bus, you might want to be careful.I also received a ticket for one visit to Shika-no-Yu and was able to go there first thing in the morning, so I was happy. It seems like you can't always buy hot spring eggs.

It's an unassuming inn, but I stopped by in the morning to soak in the hot sulfur springs. It's a hot spring-like hot spring, and it's one of the day-trip baths in Nasu that I keep coming back to because it gives me a feeling of satisfaction. However, there were some disappointing days when the temperature dropped during typhoons, long periods of rain, or heavy rain.Today's temperature is displayed at the entrance, so I'd like to refer to it, but it doesn't really help. Quite about it. The day it said it was 42 degrees (about 42 degrees), it was hot enough to kill me. This is definitely not 42. There's a faucet near the bathtub that dispenses water, so I'm told that you can dilute it as you like, so I dilute it when I first start and wait until it's hot. There are other similar hot springs, but I'm glad that this one is often empty. Only you or at least one other person. When I look at the parking lot, if there is already a car, I go to another hot spring. The Kikuya Ryokan in front of us has the same hot spring quality and is definitely hotter. In any case, people who don't like hot water should avoid it. Sometimes people come home angry because they can't go in because it's too hot, but I think it's a shame for both the person and the hotel.

My husband and I wanted to stay at an inn near Nasu's ``Shikanoyu Gensen'', so we called several hotels, and out of them, we found ``Asakaso'', which happily accommodated us. It's very reasonable at 6,000 yen per person without dinner and breakfast only.``Asakaso'' is the main building run by a family, and apparently there is no indoor bath (instead, you can use the outside bath ``Taki no Yu'').This annex has only one indoor bath, but it's great because you can have the Shika-no-Yu source all to yourself. However, the temperature is hot. As others have written, it will definitely be 45 degrees.I was told that it could be diluted with water, so I added some water. If someone who likes hot baths was around, I would have been a bit cramped, but luckily I had the bath to myself, so I was able to warm it up to the right temperature and soak in it slowly. It was a wonderful hot spring with faint yunohana floating on it.There was another group of guests, but we were on different floors, so we only saw each other at breakfast, so we had a quiet and relaxing time. It's a simple inn with no amenities, no towels, and only shampoo and soap in the bathroom, but the purpose is to soak in the Shikanoyu hot spring source! So, I think it's different depending on the person, but I think it's worth comparable to a hotel that costs 50,000 yen per night. After all, ``Shika-no-Yu'' is crowded, there are children who aren't in diapers, and I can't relax at all as I hear the loud cries of old women who I can only assume are there to chat, so I definitely prefer this one. is good. The only problem I have is that the blanket inside the futon was so thin that it was cold when I slept. No matter how warm I get from sulfur springs like Kusatsu Onsen or Shikanoyu, my body and feet end up cold, so I bring a foot warmer from my car and put it in my bed. I put it in there and went to sleep. If I didn't have this, my feet would be cold and I wouldn't be able to sleep.By the way, there was a kerosene stove in the room, but my husband and I both have asthma, so we didn't use it. People who are sensitive to cold or sensitive to cold should be careful.I think it would be a great accommodation if they could improve this point.

I visited right after it opened on Saturday! The temperature display on the day said it was 42 degrees, but the actual water temperature was 44 degrees. I love the sulfur springs at Shika-no-Yu and Unkaikaku, so I was very satisfied with the hot water! Moreover, it had been renovated and the bathtub and bathroom were very clean. When you enter the bathroom, you can see the beautiful sulfur spring overflowing from the bathtub, giving you a fist pump (^^)I soaked slowly for about 45 minutes, but I was left alone for the entire time. Although it is an indoor bath, there are two windows that are open for proper ventilation, and the amount of hot water is perfect and it never gets too hot, so I was able to enjoy a comfortable bath at 44 to 45 degrees Celsius.Next time, I would like to stay overnight. Recommended for those who want to take a leisurely soak in the Shika-no-Yu hot spring without the crowds.*The host of the inn was very polite and gave me a good impression.
