I typically avoid leaving negative feedback, but the numerous issues we encountered warrant serious concern in this hotelLess than 48 hours before our scheduled check-in, we were informed that the one-bedroom villa we had booked and paid for was no longer available due to a system error. Despite my efforts to resolve this issue, I was offered only a downgrade to a deluxe room or a refund, with no effort made to rectify the situation. I found this response to be unacceptable and lacking in customer service and service recoveryAfter a lengthy phone call with the front desk, assurances were made that the villa would be ready upon our arrival. However, this was not the end of our troubles. The night before our check-in, we were notified that, despite having reserved a private villa, we would be required to share the private pool. This was contrary to what was advertised and what we had paid for.Upon arrival, we found the private pool in an unsatisfactory state compared to the public pool. Inside the villa, the air conditioning in the bedroom was malfunctioning and led to flooding due to leakage. Despite notifying the front desk, the issue was not addressed in a timely manner, leaving us with a malfunctioning air conditioner and a leaking ceiling for the duration of our stay.Breakfast service was also problematic. Despite ordering the previous night, our orders were consistently incorrect. On the third day, I waited an hour for a continental breakfast that had been ordered in advance, while others received their meals promptly despite only ordering in the morning vial ala carteWhile the staff here was notably helpful and polite, and the overall appearance of the hotel is modern, these positives are overshadowed by the severe shortcomings in management and service.These issues should be urgently solved to prevent future guests from experiencing similar problems. The management and reservation department need to significantly improve their practices to match the standard expected from the establishment

Tldr no mini fridge in room. Decent hotel for the area at Tanjong Uban, Bintan. Good service, simple breakfast.Recommend as a sleeping place, central hidespot to explore the surrounding Bintan area. But must have driver as area is not walking or app service friendly.
