I have been using it since a long time ago, when I had a landlady. Whether there is a landlady or not, I still use the hotel because I have a friendly, warm-hearted hostess who makes me feel at home. The food and service is better than in the past, and everything is so fresh and delicious that I can't eat seafood from supermarkets anymore. It's different from today's luxury and beautiful hotels, but for someone like me who travels to various places around the world and around the country for surfing and fishing, it's a guesthouse with a nostalgic feel and plenty of facilities. It's been broadcast on TV many times, but I honestly don't want people to know about it because I don't want to be able to get a reservation!

I certainly think things have gotten worse here since the landlady was gone. However, what I would like our customers to understand is that pricing etc. cannot be determined individually. This will be determined by the tourism association or union. As a former island resident, I am not satisfied with the current situation, and to be honest, I am saddened by the lack of cooperation between traditional guesthouses and inns. There seems to be some misunderstanding, so just for your information, do you know the difference between a guesthouse and a ryokan? There is essentially no service. It is normal for guests to stay overnight without meals and prepare their own meals. There is a big difference from a ryokan.Free TV, air conditioner and other electrical appliances, nightwear, towels, detergent and toothbrushes are provided. As those who know about guesthouses know, this is not the case.I don't want the island to be the same as the hot spring inn, which is mainly a ryokan.I also see Himakashima's current style as if they are strangling themselves as if there is no future. The islanders themselves seem to be losing their future, even for their children, by leaving no trace of their faces.
