The food is good and the service is good. But maybe because the room next door is so close, or because the walls are thin, I could hear everyone's voices. I can't help but find it hard to sleep depending on the person next to me.

I stayed in detached room A with an open-air bath. The room was right after entering the front desk.Walk along the cobblestones to your room.If you have difficulty walking, we recommend asking the inn if there are other means of transportation. The room is very spacious and clean. Both the indoor bath and the guest room's open-air bath are fed by natural hot spring water. The hot springs are very soft and comfortable on the skin. The Nakai-san was very proactive and attentive, and I was impressed by the very high-quality hospitality of this long-established establishment. The food is also compared to other luxury inns.Even though the ingredients were the same, everything was a little better. There wasn't a lot of batting with other customers, so I didn't feel like I was inbound that day. There is tea in the room, but there is no coffee available, so if you like coffee, you may want to order room service, so I think it would be a good idea to ask the inn.I'm not traveling all over the country, but if you're in the Kanto area, I recommend this inn.I don't usually make repeat trips, but I like to go to various places.I would like to visit this inn again. This is the only inn for now.

This was a dreamy stay experience for my family from the second we walked in, greeted by superb hospitality, echoed by other reviewers. The service and the details stand out like a movie set, and is done with intention. The rooms are meticulous and comfortable. The dining experience was pleasantly comparable to many star-rated restaurants and met with consistent top level service. Nothing like soaking in a private hot spring in the evening, stargazing in total relaxation in a serene property. I usually don't write reviews but this onsen is an experience to be shared. Well done!

I went here with my girlfriend and I have nothing but excellent things to say. All of the staff were incredibly attentive, gracious and polite. From the initial welcome with complimentary green tea and matcha paste, to the kaiseki breakfast and dinners, to the private and personal onsens, this Ryokan easily makes for an unforgettable experience. My only regret is that I only stayed for the one night and didn’t fully take advantage of everything Atami Sekitei has to offer.

It was a perfect stay. The hot springs in the rooms are free-flowing, and there are free drinks in the refrigerator. It's expensive so I won't be able to come back soon, but I'll save up the money and stay there again (lol)

About 15 years ago, this inn was different from what it is now, and it felt like a long-established inn in the old Sukiya style, and now that I think about it, I was young and didn't really appreciate the old Wabi-Sabi experience. I would have enjoyed it to the fullest by now. I was wondering if I could have enjoyed the separate private room, open-air bath, and kaiseki meal a little more...Now that I look at it, the wash basin and other parts that felt old have been renovated, and Atami, which still felt old, has been wonderfully updated, and this long-established inn has also been updated. It seems that the light has been restored. This is a ryokan that you would want to visit with your mature self.

I used it in April. I stayed in a room called Atami. The room was spacious and tasteful. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the hot food was cold. I was in charge of the proprietress, and I was able to experience the three aspects of being attentive, considerate, and considerate, and I learned a lot about myself.

Visited in January 2024.I took a taxi from Atami Station.Unfortunately, it was raining, but they lent us nice umbrellas on the grounds of the inn.Strollers were not allowed on the premises due to stairs, so if you are bringing small children, please use a baby carrier. The room had the feel of an old folk house and was very relaxing. They also prepared futons for the children. The food was also very delicious. They also prepared rice and miso soup for the children.Although I wasn't able to go to the public bath, the hot spring in my room was very nice and I was able to soothe my daily fatigue and have a relaxing time.I had some great memories on a girls' trip with my sister and niece.
