You cannot park your car at the inn during the winter. There was a parking lot within a 5-10 minute walk so I had to carry my luggage. We stayed for 3 nights as a family of 4, so we had quite a bit of luggage, so it took us two round trips each to check in and check out. There are a lot of foreigners in this area as well, and when we used it, all the other rooms were filled with foreigners.I felt that I needed to be prepared for cultural differences, both good and bad, when staying overnight. The building is showing its age, but it's a reasonable place to stay, and it's located inside a ski resort, so it's a good place for young people and families who like playing in the snow. The meal is so-called ski slope meal.Breakfast will be servedThis area is one of the areas with heavy snowfallIt's a great place for snow lovers like me, but some preparation is required.Even with studless tires, I can't climb hills and chains seem to be necessary.I brought a chain with me as a 4WD driver, but luckily I didn't have to use it.Bring a shovel, snow wiper, window scraper, etc.The snow shown in the photo will fall in one day, so if you are staying overnight, we recommend starting the engine and removing snow at least once a day.

A great B&B for beginners and intermediate skiers!Among the four ski resorts in Myoko Plateau, the Akakura Onsen Ski Resort where the B&B is located has a relatively spacious and flat terrain, with steep slopes suitable for skiers with different preferences. You can ski in ski out at the B&B. There is a green line cable car entrance one minute walk away, a red line/night ski cable car entrance three minutes walk away, and another green line cable car entrance one minute walk down. It is very convenient and good for physical strength. If you have enough, you can enjoy skiing from 8:30 in the morning to 10 in the evening, and you can go back to the B&B for a rest at noon. The B&B facilities have a free ski storage room, which is accessible by going down the stairs to the left of the counter. There is also a work table for repairing your own skis. There is a free snowshoe and snowsuit drying room. There is a coin-operated laundry room. There is a free hot spring on the first floor of the basement. It is open from 6 am to 10 pm every day. When staying, I observed that it is cleaned every day. The environment is clean and the water temperature is just right, not too warm or too hot. It is very suitable for relaxing after skiing. Get better. There is a restaurant on the second floor of the entrance level that provides paid breakfast and lunch at affordable prices. The only drawback of the B&B is that you have to drag your luggage through the snow track, which is about a ten-minute walk if you have luggage. Due to a storm on the return trip, the owner of the B&B was very considerate and helped us carry one person and all the luggage to the bus station in his snowmobile. In addition, the owner of the B&B is not very fluent in English and will use the translation software of the app to communicate with foreigners. The recommended way to get to the B&B is to take JR from Tokyo to Myoko Kogen Station. There is a local bus stop on the right side of the exit. The bus fare is ¥380 per person and takes 20 minutes to Akakura Onsen, the final destination. After getting off the bus, there is the Yodel Information Center next to it. There is a free hot spring street shuttle bus in front of it. It runs every fifteen minutes. Take one stop and get off at the Kumado Information Center, and then pass through the snow to reach the B&B.

The place is not too big, the breakfast is the same every day, and the taste is okay. It is next to the ski resort, which is convenient, but you have to walk a long way to other ski resorts.
