This inn recreates as much as possible the atmosphere of Koarantei, a villa built in the mid-Meiji period, and emphasizes the warmth of wood. The annex and Japanese garden are especially nice. Sukiya-zukuri is a wooden building with a floor plan that allows you to feel the four seasons through the natural garden and enjoy the surrounding scenery as a borrowed view. The food is delicious and the customer service is good. There is also a sense of cleanliness. The bath attached to the room is spacious and comfortable. The public bath is small and feels like a public bath.The original villa, Koarashi-tei, was said to have been visited by members of the imperial family and literary figures and artists. It opened as an inn in the late Showa period.Atami's hot springs have an overwhelming total amount of gushing water of approximately 24,000 tons per day. Approximately 90% of the ingredients are chloride springs and sulfate springs. The salt coats the skin and has an excellent heat-insulating effect, making it suitable for neuralgia and sensitivity to cold.

I found this place when I was looking for a place to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival while having a meal.I used a special room on the 7th floor (sea side), and the room was clean and spacious.Although it was a little far from the fireworks venue, the view was good, so I was able to watch the fireworks leisurely from my room.There was a wide variety of food, and all the dishes were very delicious.The customer service was explained in detail during the preliminary confirmation over the phone, and the customer service in the room was also kind and courteous, which made everyone, including my family, very satisfied.Regarding the bath, the bath attached to the room has a window facing the sea.You can watch fireworks while taking a bath.You can watch the fireworks from the observation bath in the large public bath on the top floor, but since the men and women take shifts, you won't be able to see them unless you time it right.Unfortunately, this inn did not have an open-air bath, and the hot water had a very strong disinfectant smell (chlorine smell).Other than that, I was very satisfied, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Former State Guest House, 4-star hotel in Atami, excellent customer serviceAs the name of the restaurant and inn suggests, the evening kaiseki meals are made with great stock and each dish is carefully prepared, showing the skill and heart of the chef. I haven't had Japanese food this delicious since Rokusan-tei (Rokusaburo Dojo's restaurant) in Ginza.Breakfast was a Japanese set meal, which is the type of quality that would cost over 3000 yen if you ate it in Tokyo...There were many side dishes to go with the rice, and there was a rice bowl on the table, so I had to refill it many times. Thank you for the very delicious breakfast this morning.The room was a standard room, but it was too spacious for two people, with a raised 3 tatami mat and a 6 tatami mat bedroom, 10 tatami mats, and a wide veranda (lol)I had a wonderful holiday, thank you very much.

A long-established restaurant and inn in Atami.I rented out the entire building, and it was a wonderful inn, including the service and food.In particular, the detached rooms have gardens and semi-open-air hot springs.However, the men's public bath is a bit small and feels lonely. . .A good inn for a relaxing stay.

I stayed with my family yesterday. As a hot spring inn, it is wonderful. I especially enjoyed the hospitality of the waitress. Although we ate in our room, we were impressed by the courteous service. I also have good communication skills, and I hope that I will continue to do my best.You can also relax in the hot spring bath in your room.Also, if I have a chance, I would like to visit you again.

This place was stunning, when I mean it was stunning it was absolutely amazing! We worth the money we spent here.Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff, and was shown the area. The views outside were amazing. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The place was really nice and spacious.Staff gave us some food to feed the fish outside in the pond. The fish kept trying to jump out the water to get the food.We were shown to our room and they brought all our luggage up to our room. We were started off with a jelly and some tea to refresh ourselves before dinner was served. The room had a mini fridge and the staff set up our futons at night after our meal.We enjoyed a lovely 10 course meal, each part of the meal presented so delicately, all different tastes and textures, some I was more familiar with than others. The fruit at the end was a really nice finish, one of the juiciest melons I have ever tasted. I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes!We went to the public onsen on the top floor and it was amazing, so relaxing, the water temperature was amazing. There wasn’t anyone else there which was even more relaxing.We then went down and had a cool drink and then went straight back into our private onsen in our room. Wagging the view is so peaceful.Finally before leaving we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, and incredibly filling breakfast but so delicious.Staff helped us with calling a taxi, they were so friendly and saw us off to the taxi.They didn’t speak much English but it wasn’t too much of an issue, we used translation apps to give us a helping hand!Thank you to all the staff there that served us that day, couldn’t be more pleased with the service there, would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a peaceful but enjoyable holiday.

This is an inn where you are very satisfied with both the facilities and services.The scenery is beautiful and you can relax.(It would have been better if only the weather had been nice, but I guess it can't be helped.)

On the first day, I was tied up for the first time in my life. It's an old inn, so I guess it can't be helped.Also, I think the guy in glasses at the reception should leave this inn immediately. You shouldn't be on the public display.The container is too small.The food wasn't that good either, so I don't think it was necessary to stay at this inn. There are many other good inns.

I used it for work, and the room was Japanese-style and comfortable, and although it might be a little different depending on the room, the view from the window was also very nice because it was located on a hill.The view from the public bath was also beautiful.The food was elegant and delicious as expected from a Japanese restaurant and inn.The seafood was fresh and delicious.Although it has nothing to do with the inn, there is a 24-hour supermarket right in front of the hotel, so being able to buy things was even better.

We were welcomed by a beautiful flower arrangement at the entrance. As it is a Japanese restaurant and inn, all the meals, dinner and breakfast, were delicious. All the employees were smiling and the service was perfect. There were koi in the pond in the garden, and when I gave them some koi, they looked like they would fly onto land with great force, so it was fun.It was a pity that I couldn't use the washlet in the room.This is an inn I would like to stay at again.
