It was very beautiful and I had a good time.The host of the inn was also friendly and nice.The negative point is that WiFi is not available and the signal is not good.Other than that I'm satisfied.

What an amazing lodge! We stayed there for three nights in June. Seiko and Hiro were awesome hosts. The time at Funky Monkey Lodge was so relaxing thanks to their hospitality. Delicious breakfast and dinner, the cool climbing wall, Hiro's veggie garden, and watching baseball games with them every night became unforgettable memories for our kids. We will definitely come back again.

Stayed in summer and in winter. Very comfortable and feeling at home! A lodge operated by a couple very knowledgeable about mountains, locals, and activities. Precious experiences for visitors from big cities:)

This is a hidden gem of a lodge hosted by the sweetest local couple who spoil you with homemade meals and local specialties- they have great local knowledge of the area and will even organize special trips to your liking and of course great access to skiing and snowboarding and limitless powder! We are excited to return for our next stay in Myoko!

We requested for drop to the town, which is on the way to the station, final morning schedule. As he was rushing for his other gig as ski instructor, he said going to the town would have traffic. but when we went there, the town was normal with no traffic. Random reason to skip the request.

Stayed 4 nights in this beautiful lodge in Myoko. The owners Hiro and Seiko were very accommodating. Food especially the nabe is really really good. Location is also a good jump-off point if you want to visit ski resorts or onsens. Will definitely go back to this place. Hopefull soon. :)

Really nice place with a warm atmosphere and the owners are also snow people like us so we went skiing/snowboarding together too. Food was epic and there is a cool climbing wall in the community living room too. Also if you need to do laundry fix ur skis or anything else its all there. Really nice place Ill definitely be returning too next time im in Myoko :):

Enjoy the warm atmosphere of the Funky Monkey guesthouse. The owners are a friendly couple with no shortage of helpful attentions (like assistance to park the car, guidance to local restaurants and activities, sharing a drink on the balcony). Never had this perfect balance between service / quality and homely atmosphere elsewhere (not to mention the price is very reasonable)Kids are very welcome and the bouldering wall will keep some and even adults interested.Also worth mentioning that one needs not know any Japanese to get around as the owner is fluent in English.Very highly recommended to anyone who likes a friendly atmosphere.
