Although there is no play equipment, it is a nice campsite with a beautiful lawn.I visited in early October and saw some people swimming in the river. There is a shallow river within the campground where you can catch small fish. There are one Western-style and one Japanese-style toilet, and they are kept very clean. If you choose a day, overnight or day stay, you can come in at 10am and leave at 3pm the next day.In that case, the total usage fee + 2 days parking fee will be ¥3500, which is completely reasonable. However, since it is along the river, there is a lot of morning dew, so you need some tips to dry it.Added in September 2024I used it on a Sunday in late September. The site was about half full. There was a group of Latin foreigners among the generally calm crowd, and they were constantly playing loud music, which made it uncomfortable. An adult man is playing soccer shirtless and it's noisy and unpleasant.I would like the administrator to at least warn me not to play music.Or, I wish they would include banning music in the campsite rules. It's a shame because it's a great campsite. We hope it will be a place where children can play safely.

Great camping site just a quick drive from MCAS Iwakuni. I prefer this site vs the one across the river because this site has the large campfire pit (across the river you can’t have a fire pit). This site has better access to the river for kids, has a bigger playing area for kids, night games etc. The bathrooms are just fine, I mean it is camping so, but they are clean.

I think it's a less scary spot for playing in the river than upstream!

It was raining, so I was completely solo. All trash except ashes was taken home, and the toilets were flushed and cleaned in a Western style, so they were very clean. The manager was a very personable person.Depending on the location, you may need to be careful as the ground around the bench is soft and the pegs came off easily.

A friend took me there, and there are toilets and a kitchen. It was a weekday afternoon, so it was empty.I'm not an outdoors person, but I enjoyed having a barbecue.

We used it for swimming in the river. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please refer to other people's reviews. It is operated by Iwakuni City's Third Sector. I think it will be in the same group as Lake Plaza Yasaka. In addition to camping, day camping and river play are also available. When playing in the river, you only pay for the parking lot. The parking lot for swimming in the river is located at the back, but when we used it there were very few customers, including those camping, so we were able to park close to the front. The river was wide and the current was calm. When I compare it to Jaboku, which is a little upstream, I wonder if it's the same river.I guess there's no place to change clothes. The woman among us changed her clothes in the bathroom. The child is in the car.Saturdays are crowded with campers, but on the last day of the holiday when we went, there were no guests at all, so we had a lot of people to ourselves. We brought all kinds of floats with us, but we were able to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. is completed.
