I used it for a day trip bath. It was a retro bathtub with tiles. The atmosphere is similar to the traditional bath at Yumoto Onsen. The bathing fee is also reasonable at 600 yen. Personally, I prefer this hot spring to Onyu. Both the exterior and interior of the hotel have the feel of a good old Japanese inn, and I would love to stay there.

The inn was Showa-style, retro, and on the other hand, fresh. It's old, but it's well kept, quiet and relaxing. The food was also delicious. I thought 2 pieces of roast beef wasn't much, but it was thick and chewy and delicious. This time I stayed with my mother, but next time I think I'll go alone.

The inn was retro and clean, and the service was excellent. The proprietress was cheerful and kind, and served us luxurious cuisine that went beyond the scope of home-cooked meals. It retains its old-fashioned atmosphere and customer service style, giving it a nostalgic feel. I would like to bring my family again. thank you very much.

Used in 2024・LocationIt is located in the middle of Nagato Yumoto Onsen, so it is better to check the location of the parking lot etc. in advance. The parking lot is on the left when you look at the inn from the front. When you cross the red bridge, you will see a sign on the left.・Room/FacilitiesAlthough it is quite old, I think it is an inn that gives you a feeling of oldness. It may be difficult for people of the generation who are looking for a completely solid automatic lock, but I think experiencing a traditional inn is something you can only do when you can.・Meals (breakfast/dinner)It's very solid. The quantity and quality of the food was sufficient, and since I had it in my room, I was able to enjoy it slowly. The landlady seemed to be working really hard. You said it was a home-cooked meal, but it went beyond the category of home-cooked food.·hot springThere are two gender-switchable locations. The water was smooth. The large bath had one shower, and the rest had old-generation taps (separate taps for cold and hot water). I think it's okay if you know old public baths.I had the luxury of using the hot spring water for bathing. It's a difficult specification for the younger generation, but the old-fashioned way of doing things made me feel very nostalgic.·othersSince I became an adult, I have been using hotels more and more.I was surprised to see that the format from when I was a kid has survived so much.Although there are many convenient and modern places, this is a traditional hot spring town along the river, so I think it's a good idea for those who want to experience the good old days or those who want to remember the old days to give it a try. When I was a child, I was reminded of how I was taught to mix hot water and cold water in a bucket. There is no convenience store in Nagato Yumoto, but there is one a few kilometers away in the Nagato direction. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. It seems that some guest rooms have or do not have a toilet, so if you need one, it would be best to inquire.·photographRyokan exteriordinnerbreakfast

I went to Nagato Yumoto Onsen to participate in the Utaakari event. My family and I stay at Otani Sanso two or three times a year, but we wanted to have a different experience than usual, so we booked here. At an old hot spring inn with a nostalgic atmosphere, I was able to spend time at my own pace without excessive entertainment. The quantity and taste of the food served in the room was good. The hot spring felt smooth to the touch, and I thought it was flowing directly from the source. There was also a toilet with a washlet in the room, so I was able to spend the night without having to leave the room.I think this is a great value for money inn that you can easily go to when you want to get away from everyday life for a while.
