Hotel 23 (Tonis) is located in front of the rotary at the south exit of Hikari Station.The website advertises it as a ``low-cost business hotel 30 seconds walk from Hikari Station in Yamaguchi Prefecture.''I made a reservation because I thought this hotel was the only place to stay for a long business trip.There is a parking lot next to the hotel and a parking lot 30 meters away, and the cost is 300 yen per night.If this parking lot is full, there is a Hikari Station south exit parking lot (24 hours, municipal parking lot) 100 meters away, so you don't have to worry about parking. This fee is 200 yen per day, but you will need to pay 200 yen every time you leave the parking lot.The customer service at the front desk of the hotel is excellent, so you can check in with peace of mind.Amenities are located at the entrance on the 1st floor, and a coin laundry and vending machines are also located on the 1st floor.There is only one elevator, so the stairs at the back are convenient. The most important guest room is the one I stayed in for a long time.Western style deluxe single room ¥6,800/night.There is also a super deluxe room that goes up one rank, but the deluxe room is quite satisfying.First of all, it was wonderful that the bathroom and toilet were separate, rather than the one that is often found in business hotels.Everything you need is provided, including a microwave, refrigerator, TV, and kettle.Also, the size of the room is just right, not too big and not too small.You can eat breakfast at ``Shokuing BAR Kashiko'' on the 2nd floor of the main building from 6:00am.It's buffet style and delicious.Rooms, customer service, delicious breakfastThe quality of everything is higher than the accommodation fee.I can't complain (lol)

You can even stay in the highest quality super deluxe rooms on the side of the new building at a reasonable price. Weekly stays are even cheaper. There is also a microwave in the room, and the toilet and bath are separate. Breakfast is also substantial.

I stayed in a non-smoking room in the new building.I asked someone who stayed in the main building, which was a smoking room, and they said that the main building was a Japanese-style room with a microwave only on the first floor, so I was lucky to stay in a good room.The new building has microwaves in the rooms, separate baths and toilets, and is larger and more comfortable than a normal business hotel.Unfortunately, the TV signal is weak and sometimes disappears, there is no timer or stop function when filling the bath with hot water, the hot water has to be adjusted carefully, the pillows are too high, and there are no free computers and printers in the lobby. That's a thing.This was the first time I stayed at a business hotel where each room had a microwave, and it was very convenient, and I found it useful for warming up side dishes and bento boxes I bought at the supermarket.

It's good to have a microwave in the room (single deluxe). You can also watch BS. The toilet and bath are separated, so you can take a leisurely bath.
