This is my first time commenting. I didn't do enough research and thought it was a free campsite in Hokkaido (no check-in), so I read a few reviews and headed to the campsite without even calling to apply. The idea was to simply pay 500 yen for cooperation and 100 yen for toilet use. At around 4pm on October 4, 2024, there was a handwritten note at the point where the straight road to Umagaeshi turned left and turned into dirt.No entry allowed except for related parties ⛔️I can't even go to the campsite.Leave quickly!! ️Generally speaking, it was written to this effect. There was also a description of the cow-related association and the affiliation of the writer.I didn't have the mental space to take photos, and I cursed myself for not taking the necessary steps. It turned out to be a waste of time and gasoline, with a bad aftertaste.I did a poor job of doing my homework.I plan to check the website carefully and later contact the management organization via email or phone to inquire about the circumstances. Is it closed to raise the eruption level alert? But not a single word was mentioned.Weird and mysterious!?

I went there during Golden Week.It was free, the restrooms were clean, and the water fountain was clean, but it was windy and cold.I set it up quite far towards the front, but it looks like I can go quite far into it, so next time I'd like to go inside. You drive into the parking lot, unload your luggage, and return it to the parking lot, so even if you have a lot of luggage, you don't have to worry about it at all. Also, there are many climbers walking. There are no shops nearby, so if you forget something, you're done.

I used this toilet while hiking. It was a sub-zero morning, so I was surprised when I went to the bathroom. It was warm and I didn't mind taking off my jacket. I am truly grateful to be warmed up early in the morning. I felt warmed up and excited and was able to climb my first mountain of the year. thank you very much.
