A super retro Showa-style inn with a super cheap price of around 11,000 yen including two meals. Built by a shrine carpenter, this is a wonderful cultural property-class building. The ceilings are high, and the tokonoma and transoms are wonderful. This ryokan is highly recommended as it also has summer blinds, and tourists who love Japanese architecture should definitely stay at this inn. However, it is not suitable for people who like cleanliness or who dislike insects and spider webs.I think maintenance will be difficult, but I wish you the best of luck.I would support it if you could launch the crowdfunding “Nakajima Ryokan Protection Association”

It was a very nice place in a quaint building, the customer service was very friendly, and we had lots of delicious food. I will consider hosting my next year-end party again.

It is a Meiji or Edo period style building that can be reached after a long walk from the bus stop.I would like to give 10 stars, but I only have 5 stars so I gave it 5.Especially the food is amazing. For each dish, he uses a combination of mild seasoning and seasoning that is well-defined, making each dish exquisitely delicious, something only a professional can do. I also hate the fact that the miso soup and the wakame seaweed on the side of the stew are surprisingly delicious. Really awesome. The bath is hot, but I don't know why, but it feels like it's working from the core, and the quality of the hot springs is amazing. The building has a great atmosphere and I think people who like it will like it.The landlady who served us was also a very nice person. Anyway, I'll definitely visit again.

This inn has a deep history and was built in 1933, with an exterior reminiscent of the bathhouse in Spirited Away.Accommodation costs are low compared to Hanamaki Onsen and Dai Onsen. The hot springs (natural rock baths) are hot, authentic, and have a nice atmosphere. The meals are luxurious considering the cost of accommodation. However, the toilet and washroom are shared. Although it has been cleaned to a certain extent, it cannot be said to be thorough as there are some areas with spider webs in the rooms and toilets. It's located in a deserted hot spring town, so the view from the window isn't exactly beautiful, with roofs strewn with dead leaves and ruins standing right in front of you.Not suitable for germaphobic people, young couples, or families with small children. I think it's good for people who want a cheap stay with dinner included, people who like old buildings, people who don't mind a little lack of cleanliness, and people who want to relax in a hot spring.

This is a ryokan where you can feel the good old days of Japan. The landlady was very kind. The building, which was designed by the previous generation (previous generation?) was interesting because it had been renovated and had a labyrinth of stairs inside.

The fried flounder was delicious. There was a lot of rice in the bowl, and I was happy, but I ate it desperately, thinking that if I left it, I would get a drumstick. The room was damp and had a musty smell.I got bitten by an insect in the changing room.I should have told her right away, but I just went home. Thanks to that, I had to have surgery.hot water is good

Although it is an inn in an old-fashioned hot spring town, the food and service were excellent.Best of all, the food was delicious. The water in the bath was a little hot, but it was a wonderful and mysterious bath.

Even though it was February, I was able to go by bike. The parking lot was gravel, so I was saved by being told to park in front of the store. The waiter was a friendly man. I was very satisfied with the many delicious dishes served for dinner, and the hot spring water was said to have a water temperature of 90 degrees Celsius and was crystal clear. This is an inn I would like to visit again. There was no safe and I couldn't find the valuables box in the bathroom, so I deducted one star even though it's not a problem for me.

The building was magnificent and the food was delicious. The heating is fully equipped with a gas fan heater, so it will keep you warm enough to get hot. The price was also surprisingly low.
