You can enjoy suppon cuisine. All dishes are made with soft-shelled turtle. Anyway, it was full of soft-shelled turtles, and it was very delicious and impressive. The hot springs flowing directly from the source were also very pleasant. The kind landlady's personality is also wonderful. This is a recommended ryokan.

I'm a picky eater, so I went there with some people from work and was a little nervous. However, it was my first time eating soft-shelled turtle, and it was delicious, and the inn manager explained the cooking to me, so I was very satisfied. I would like to go again if I have a chance.

P.S. When I asked for beer 🍺, what brand would you like? ️ It was the first time I was asked 🎵 I was impressed and happy ☺️ Most of the time they only bring me this 😃 This is the first time I've been here and they reluctantly bring me something like this is the only one. Like

Celebrities such as Ken Shimura and Seiji OzawaIt looks like the inn was also used.Anyway, both the hot springs and the food are great. The building has a long history in the snow, so it's pretty normal, but when you go inside, it's been renovated and the rooms and dining area are spotless.Yukawa Onsen specialty? However, wild vegetable dishes such as bracken and mizuna are very delicious. My companion said it was his first time eating softshell turtles and he didn't know what to do with them, so we decided on a plan to grill them. . . Even though it was summer, it was fatty, the skin was crispy, and the meat was plump and soft. The sight of him standing on the plate with his big mouth open is so cool! . It's more of a work of art than a dish.It doesn't seem like they use very high-quality ingredients other than the soft-shelled turtle and kinki, but I felt that everything was made with care. It's delicious anyway. Although I rarely get to visit Mantaka Ryokan, it is an inn that I would like to visit throughout the year.

Visited for the soft-shelled turtle dish. Shinkansen accommodation package after working in Yokohama. The first night was at a hotel near Hanamaki Station. But our destination is this Mantaka Ryokan. Full course with soft-shelled turtle, private hot spring.Although the hot spring was in June, it was extremely hot. The first time, I couldn't get it up to my shoulders. But strangely, from the second time onwards, I was able to fully enjoy myself and was able to check out 5 times. It's good hot water. It's great to rent a private bath and take a bath while admiring the greenery outside. Many people may not be able to finish the full course of soft-shelled turtle, but they finished it with enthusiasm, thinking, ``I came all the way to Iwate for this!'' I had some delicious drinks and didn't have to make any work calls... it was really nice 😊I'm planning to move to Toyama, so I think I'll need some momentum to visit again, but I'd like to visit with my husband in a few years.I was a little nervous about going up the stairs from my room on the 2nd floor to the mezzanine floor toilet, as the toilet is close by.However, considering the satisfaction of the food and the hot springs, it's ok.Thank you to the landlady who talked to me until the steamy taxi arrived, and the young husband who was kind to me while serving the food. It's totally OK for women traveling alone!

Although the facility is quite old, the kind landlady welcomed us and we were able to spend a relaxing time there.I'm full from the soft-shelled turtle dish.I don't think there are any stores nearby. There are no vending machines, so if you need it, we recommend purchasing it in advance.
